"Throwing myself into the discomfort of competition prep is one of the best things I have ever done for myself, both mental and physical.

When things get hard on prep, and they WILL get hard, you have to dig so deeply. You have to look internally and realign your mindset and values.

You have to consistently remind yourself of what your WHY is. Why are you doing this and how is it serving you?

I wanted to prove to MYSELF that I had the discipline and mental fortitude to stick with my plan. That I could push through the discomfort. That I had the courage to stand up on a stage to be JUDGED and still come out loving myself - all of which I was able to achieve."
