The game supports many steering wheels without altering any of the default settings, but, if you're here, it most likely means you encountered a problem. In 99% of the cases, the information listed here will be enough to solve your problem, but if this guide didn't help you, feel free to write us on Discord:

There are three possible problems:

• Game settings.
  
• Badly compatible steering wheel.
  
• Lack of certain files on the computer.

I was able to solve all of them in 100% of cases when players asked me for help. Just follow the guide and don't skip any of the steps even if you're sure they won't help.

1. In the game, press F1 and select Steering wheel as a control device.


2. If the game behaves strangely and you have problems with shifting between gears or the bus makes actions different from your inputs, it can mean that actions are set incorrectly. Many actions can be assigned simultaneously in Buttons and Axles and, if you do it incorrectly, your inputs can be misunderstood by the game. Check if your settings are duplicated without necessity.


3. Steering and gas/brake axles work by detecting their vale between minimum and maximum. In Control settings, under steering wheel and pedal sliders, you can see these values.
If minimum and maximum values differ much from each other, press Reset and turn the wheel to the left and then to the right, release it and press the pedals. If it helps, and values are back to normal, don't forget to save the settings.

4. If you still have problems, they can come from other controllers connected at the same time. Also, virtual controllers and controller emulators can be the cause. The problem can be solved by unplugging them or disabling them in Device Manager. If you don't want to do that, try the next step.

5. If you're here, it means that your device is not supported in Unity by default. You'll need to use checkbox "Use Logitech API" near the steering wheel axis and/or pedals.
When you tick the checkbox, you'll see the API status. Here are their possible values:

"API works" - everything is OK. Set up axles and enjoy the game. If the steering wheel behaves incorrectly even with working API - contact us.

"Launch error" - you may need the following:

And Logitech G-Hub: https://www.logitechg.com/ru-ru/innovation/g-hub.html

Please, take this step seriously even if your controller isn't manufactured by Logitech. There are files in G-Hub, which are needed for controller support in Unity. You don't need to use it, just install it, close it and forget about it.

"Compatible controllers not detected"
Neither of connected devices support API. Either your controller or USB port is malfunctioning or you have a very rare device. We're afraid we can't help you in this case, but still write us - we'll try to help you.

If you see any other message - write us, it means that something unpredicted has happened.
