I appreciate your appreciation :)
I don't own a PS5 controller, so I couldn't produce a mapping for it, but the PS4 layout should import very easily :
Connect the PS5 controller however it works best with Steam.
On the games page in your Steam Library open the "View Controller settings" > Enable Steam Input > Click on the big button below Current Button Layout.
In the "Load new Layout" menu, select "Community Templates" select "Show All Layouts"
Roll down until you find the "Shadows of The Empire Gamepad Controls" by E-train with the PS4 controller icon next to it.
Click it, which will import it onto the PS5 controller layout.
I think it will work pretty well from just the importing, or it will give you good base to adjust from there
With Steam you can load a pre-made config as follows:
The easiest way is to go into Steam Big Picture Mode. Go to your game (have a controller connected). Go to Manage Game. Go to Controller Configuration. Go to Browse Configs.
Then Import someone's pre-built configuration.
To use the config shown in this guide, your in-game keyboard bindings will need to match the
in-game screenshots shown in this guide. I think they were simply the default bindings, but it was a long time ago when I made the controller configuration.
Have fun :)
