What each effect does
Before you learn the effects themselves, remember that enemies that are vulnerable to an element, take 30% damage, whilst enemies that resist an element only take 50% of the damage the trap deals.

Fire - Sets enemies on fire. Enemies who are on fire take damage over time. (You can use this to your advantage with traps such as the tar trap. It has a unique upgrade that increases fire damage taken whilst slowed)

Ice - Freezes enemies. Makes enemies brittle, taking extra damage from physical sources. Also it stops them in-place and unable to move. This effect doesn't last too long.

Stone - Not a damage type, stoned enemies, like frozen enemies, take bonus damage from physical, however not from ice. You can have a stoned AND frozen enemy for combos but the damage modifier wont be any better. Stoned enemies still take damage from DoT's.

Physical - Base type of damage.

Lightning - Electrifies enemies. Upon death, electrified enemies explode doing damage in a small radius. Some traps also stun enemies if they have been previously electrified. (Note that ceiling lasers deal lightning damage)

Arcane - Arcane damage debuffs enemy allowing them to take a flat additional amount of damage from other arcane traps. (Lets say a orc steps on arcane (unique) brimstone, after that they get hit by arcane dragon which deals 10 damage (+5 extra damage, because of the debuff.) From what is currently known, the amount is 15%.

Acid - Causes enemies to take damage over time. Debuffs orcs with "Melt" increasing physical damage taken by 50%.

Bleed - Bleeds enemies, does DoT (Damage over Time). Adds combo multiplier.

Airborne/Knocked down - Take 100% (2x) more damage from all sources.

The game should include the option of creating your own level and sharing it online.

Arcane is in fact 15% bonus elemental damage. Source: Game files
Feel free to copy the wiki but the page you'll need is about to be reworked, info is still accurate

You are missing bleed, knocked down/flying effect boosts damage taken, arcane boosts elemental damage taken as well as arcane, and fire seems to make some enemies run faster. Also not covered are how some enemies are more vulnerable to certain elements.

This isn't accurate, the info on the wiki is.

Also missing a bunch of effects... wiki is missing some too.

@Ventches It doesn't. Just ran a few tests here and a petrified enemy took more damage from physical and it still took damage while burning.
