Report a translation problem
With my luck I found this when I just finished the game! I was too busy looking for an Ultrasound set up (couldn't get that working, sadly...)
I did give it a quick try anyways and the graphics are significantly smoother, so much easier to play!
I saved the settings, for the next time I play through (because it is going to happen, most definitely :))
DISCLAIMER: I have not yet attempted playing any dosbox games, but your comment caught my eye because it looked like a problem I was having for ages. If modifying the .conf file as the op demonstrates somehow creates a ddraw.dll file in the folder, I do not recommend replacing it with the one I linked you to.
