@Hawthorn His melee range is quite far and against a ‘newbie’ (as I was in that video) his melee damage will quickly finish off any low armour builds such as my fire mage. 3or 4 swipes from him would have finished me off. So yes kiting (or sliding as you call it) works very well. The ‘Firewall’ also aggros the bear and keeps its attention.
