What is March of War?
March of War is a turn-based strategy game that has Factions, 6 different groups a player can choose from that each have their own unique units, therefore making strengths and weaknesses. The Alliance specializes in tanks and armored units, while Shogun specialize in infantry dominance, for example. Resources are divided up into 3 things: Engineering, Command, and Infantry (Someone please comment correct name) Units, to be deployed, will draw on any or a combination of these 3 resources, which you can get by capturing points. Every round, depending on the points you have, (Some give certain amounts of one, while others will give a different resource) you'll receive them. You can then use the resources to deploy units at any uncontested point. However, to unlock units, you have to Research them. Research is a commodity not directly used in a match, but used to unlock new units. Once unlocked, you have to buy Cards. Each card means that the unit can be deployed once every game. For example, if I have 3 European Infantry cards, I can deploy 3 European Infantry per game. Cards are not used up upon unit deployment. Not every unit is available through research, some, like the Cassock, you have to get through Special Deals, daily offers that rotate. However, it is completely possible to get any unit using non-pay currency. This is an important point, as it means paying members of the game won't get a permanant leg up (They'll still be able to buy more cards, but with enough non-pay currency, you can get just as many)
Basic mechanics
There is Infantry, Light, and heavy armor in the game. Tanks do great damage to Heavily and Lightly armored units, but little to infantry. Infantry usually do well against other infantry and light armor. There are some exceptions, such as Biker Bombers doing very well against armored targets, and Grenadiers doing the same, but generally, tanks do big damage to tanks and infantry to infantry.

The correct name for the resource you know as 'Infantry' is 'Manpower' - see the Resources video on the in-game help page for my source.
