I had one metal house and meny meny items, all is lost -_- the map is recoiled, thank you very much -_-
Basically, most (not all) of the people on our server do not want a challenge, they just want to build. It's turned into a different form of Minecraft without the survival aspect. Possibly in the future we will change the goal of the server, but we arekind of locked into what it is now without loosing players.
Beggers: I have not gotten a single report of beggers, this is something Arvie, myself, or Kev need to hear about. If it is persistant, we will step in, but overall we can't control what people do.
admin chat spam: Considering slowing it down, but too many times people say they didn't know this or that, this was our way to resolve this excuse. Now that we have a decent (not huge, but decent) player base we can probably lessen that
This is a PVE server, PVE servers of any kind are rediculously easy, I can go on ANY PVE server and have a 4*4 two story within an hour, guns and some armor as well. The low population of players makes it even easier with no competition for loot. We have, and continue to bring people in, the more players, the harder it would get.
day/night cycle: Honestly, I prefer a 40/60 split, we tried that and had constant complaining about nights being too long...
Air Drops: We have it set to a progressive number, the more people on, the more drops. The game randomly drops when it wants to within this number... Say there are enough people on for three drops per hour... They could all happen within the entire day period. I think it may be too generous but this is the first I have heard about it in a negative way.
Too many buildings on roads: We do not regulate where people build, and for whatever reason people like to build near small rad (split rad) and congregate. We have tried to spread people out more, but if people want to create lag, that's what they are going to do no matter what we say.
I mean, when you can get everything you want or need in a few hours and there isn't much to do excerpt build another eyesore of a huge empty house...there isn't much to it.
Cheers!
