Getting to the station, even "landing" on it was easy compared to staying there long enough to exit the ship and enter the station before either getting yoinked off by the tidal forces or having tidal forces just squeeze you into the end of the ship that happens to be most inconveniently distant from the hatch.
I ended up ejecting (almost) into the entrance.

(Yeah, I know there is an easy way too).
