Please note that most of this guide was written before 2022 (with about 70% of all achievements currently) and tested before 2023 (Version 1.0 with 87.5% of all achievements currently). Playstyle, builds, shortcuts and certain details in this guide may be outdated due to new updates and heroes.

• How to choose game difficulty when achi 100%?
  Except for achievements like 'Complete Elite Mode' or some Level Frames, Scrolls and weapons that need unlocking in higher difficulty (which will be listed below), playing normal difficulty is the most efficient way to get achievements done. However, the number and HP of monsters depend on the difficulty and player count, so some achievements like 'Crab Buffet' can be achieved more easily with four players challenging elite difficulty.
  
  
• What about game modes?
  Daily Challenge and Spiritual Assault mode cannot unlock weapons, scrolls, monsters, level frames and most of the achievements. Therefore this guide does not focus on these modes.
  
  
• Is it necessary to start a new save to get a specific achievement?
  No need at all, the higher level the easier game experience when getting achievements.
  
  
• Use save and load wisely.
  We may make mistakes when getting achievements in solo mode. Our save can help us by force quitting (alt+F4) and loading to reset this Act to the entrance if this happens after Act 1.
  
  
• Delay of achievement accomplishment?
  Solve this by completing a full run, going back to main menu or starting a new game.
  
  
• How does the game count monsters killed by teammates?
  In most cases, monsters killed or elementally affected by teammates will be added to your achievement counter as long as you have caused damage to it. It's the game's bug if monsters were killed but not counted.
  
  
• Here's another reason for the question above:
  Scroll 'Blazing Hoop' deals 200 fire damage every 10s, and 'Final Judgment' scroll deals non-elemental damage to low HP enemies. Be aware when you need elemental kills or skill kills.
  
  
• Are crossbow or bow sniper weapons for this game?
  Yes! See figure, or refer to Logbook - Weapon (in-game), especially Lei Luo players.

Winning a game or completing a run is to defeat the boss of Twin Fjord and returning to lobby by portal, which can complete the achievements like "Conqueror" and "Professional Athlete". Polar Monarch and Gluttony should be the boss for the story rather than the roguelite game itself.

Enlightened Beast - Defeat Lu Wu for the first time (Longling Tomb primary boss)

* Trap level is one of the hidden stages of Longling Tomb, which has two chambers of rolling stones. A chest is hidden at the end of the second chamber, and with some skills or Qing Yan's leap, it's easy to get there safely.

Top Athlete - Open all chests in the jumping level
* There are two jumping levels in Anxi Desert and one in Twin Fjord, you need to find some unusual routes to reach the hidden chest. Remember to take the initial weapon 'Foundry' to get a speed bonus.

Lava Hell - Die from Burning
Lethal Gas - Die from Decay
Thunder Outrage - Die from Shock

* These achievements are easier when you get scrolls like 'Devil's Covenant' and 'Hidden Treasure' that make more coins.

One more time - Spend over 2,000 copper to Reforge at the same Craftsman
* Reforge, not upgrade.

Money for Nothing - Purchase items from 3 Peddlers without spending copper in a single game
* You need a scroll called 'On the house' and only buy one free item from 3 Peddlers.

Hallucination Poison - Inflict Manipulation Effect on enemies 50 times in a single game (Fire + Lightning -> Burn + Shock = Manipulation)
Mad Bomber - Inflict Explosion Effect on enemies 50 times in a single game (Fire + Corrosive -> Burn + Decay = Explosion)
Gas Attack - Inflict Miasma Effect on enemies 50 times in a single game (Corrosive + Lightning -> Decay + Shock = Miasma)
* Play Crown Prince with ascensions enhancing elemental effect or Ao Bai dual-wielding weapons dealing different elemental damages. Refer to:

Buzzer Beater - Kill Corrupt Monk before the Exploding Lantern Spirits are summoned
* To kill these backline enemies quickly, you need a sniper or powerful concentrated fire.

Powerful Fire - Defeat any boss within 10s
* Bosses have a lower HP when we play solo or duo in normal difficulty. Strong weapons are required, and appropriate ascensions and scrolls that significantly increase weapon damage are also essential. Here are some examples and their key ascensions and scrolls.

Qing Yan with Wild Hunt / Illusion

Ascensions: Fully Equipped, Within Range, Hail of bullets, Victory Rush
Scrolls: Merciless Combo

Demonlore with infinite magazine

Ascensions: just increase weapon and elemental (or fire) damage
Weapon: Demonlore (with 99 buffs)
Scrolls: Advanced Depot, Long Shot, elemental (or fire) damage-increasing scrolls, ammo recovery scrolls





* How Demonlore works? It has an increased damage (its maximum buff is 99) for each crit hit until reloading, which means with infinite magazine (scrolls like Advanced Depot, Skateboarder, Bloody Ammo), it can continuously deal high damage.

Ao Bai with High DPS Weapons

Ascensions: Battle Tested, Sharpshooter, Overloading, anything enhancing weapon damage
Weapons: Dual Illusions / Big Hippo / Demonlore
Scrolls: Merciless Combo, any ammo recovery scroll

* All you need to do is stack the Blade Heart to 6, press Q in a row and watch the boss's HP fall quickly. However it requires a good combination of ascensions (most of the ascensions listed above are necessary).

Battlefield Radar - Kill Yoruhime-Maru without taking any damage from Elysian Artillery
* Practice makes perfect, get to predict boss's attack and dash smartly by practicing a lot. Or you can just watch your teammates fight and stay hidden.

Hold Your Breath - When the Polar Monarch attempts to shatter the spiritual jade, take it down with only 3s remaining before his charging process is finished
* Easier to do in higher difficulty somehow. Also, you may hold your fire at low-HP and wait until the last 3 sec.

Expert - Equip 5 Legendary Occult Scrolls
Master - Equip 10 Legendary Occult Scrolls
* Easiest way: You can just ask your teammates a favor to abandon all of their Legendary Occult Scrolls at the time the final boss is defeated so that you could pick those shiny things up.


Pragmatist - Acquire 15 different effects of Spiritual Link
* Easiest way: Similarly, just ask your teammates a favor to abandon all scrolls and weapons at the time the final boss is defeated and pick up everything to activate certain effects.

Sharpshooter - Deal 100 consecutive Crit
* Do it with Talisman, or any weapon with a high crit hit buff.

Happy-Go-Lucky - Break 3,000 Jars
* Play Qing Yan, find jars, leap, which can recover armor too.

* Easy to do in Longling Tomb, where enemies are weaker and more gathered.

Savage Butcher - Kill 1,000 enemies within a distance of 4 meters
* Easy to do in Hyperborean Jokul with close combat build.

Legendary Shot - Single attack deals more than 300,000 DMG
* That means: not a hit's total damage, but one single number, which should be more than 300000. To reach such high damage, play Reincarnation difficulty, where heroes can get buffs to enhance weapon or skill damage, and it's not really hard to get a decent combination of ascensions and scrolls to highly increase single damage. Better to have some teammates to feed you. Common high single-damage play styles: sniper-style Lei Luo, cleave-style / leap-style Qing Yan, spiritual-flame-style Li, etc.


Spiritual Jade - Unlock 20 Spiritual Jade in Spiritual Assault
* To achieve this you need to complete the mode with at least 3 different heroes and unlock every jade exclusive to them.

Try different playstyle: solo or team up, normal or elite or nightmare, Qingyan or Lei Luo or ..., your choice depends on the achievement itself.

Crab Buffet - Kill 30 Fiddler Crabs with Fire DMG in a battle
* 1. Try to have a 4-player team and play nightmare difficulty, where much more Fiddler Crabs can be found in Twin Fjord Stage 3;
2. Prepare fire-damage weapons or skills;
3. Explore all hidden stages, certain Elite Monster can summon Fiddler Crabs if not killed fast;
4. With luck you may meet a challenge that makes Fiddler Crabs more.

Here's a fresh approach by saving and resetting the third act to quickly get the challenge event (the above pic) triggered, and unlock the achievement even on solo:

1. Play normal difficulty, since the higher difficulties the less chance to spawn this 'easy' event
   
2. Burn through the game or hold a fire-damage weapon till you reach Act 3 and rest / save at the campfire
   
3. Only one event can spawn each act in normal difficulty, so if an event spawns in the first or second stage of Act 3 then gg and restart the entire run and try again. If the event spawns in stage 3, repeat it (keep the save to start from Act 3) and ALT+F4 (force exit the game) until you get the challenge event and kill enough crabs with fire
   
4. If monks appear leave them be and farm their spawns

Worm Hunter - Kill 50 Desert Worms without taking any damage
* Stay hidden! Don't take any damage, that's the hard part. Sniper. Talisman. Headshot kill*50.

Eyes on Weakness - Kill 50 Rogue Arsonists by breaking their oil barrels on the back
* Hit their back like this, better to have some teammates to attract their attention. Explosives work pretty well too.



Tactical Sniper - Kill 1,000 enemies at a distance of 30 meter or more
* Sniper or Talisman. Headshot kill*1000. Just very time-consuming.

Hell Hunter - Defeat 30 enhanced Elite monster
* Enhanced Elite Monsters are those with Affixes, shown in reincarnation difficulty.

Erudition - Encounter all elite monsters
* Explore hidden stages more. Elite monsters are more likely to show up in nightmare and higher difficulties. Elite monsters table:


Painting Master - Unlock all monsters in the logbook
* Encounter all elite monsters, meet Dragon Qian (shows up with low probability in hidden stages) and Desert Boar (shows up in Anxi Desert with low probability, sometimes also shows up in the battle with Ichthyosaurus Offspring if you deal little damage to it), defeat all bosses, and it's mainly done.

Arms Dealer - Unlock all weapons
* Here are some notable weapons:

Crit Hit

To unlock these weapons, you need to defeat a number of sniper enemies with crit hits. Better to use Talisman or snipers.

• Double Caliber: Catfish Man 100 kills (Twin Fjord)
  
• Goshawk: Bandit Tactician 40 kills (Anxi Desert)
  
• Golden Bow: Bandit Retainer 40 kills (Mostly in Anxi Desert Stage 3, some show up in hidden stages too)

Elemental Damage

To unlock these weapons, you need to defeat a number of enemies with required elemental damage. Use Talisman since it can switch damage types.

• Demonlore: Arrogant Lobster 40 kills with Fire DMG (Mostly in Twin Fjord Stage 3, some show up in hidden stages too)

Occultism Leader - Unlock all Occult Scrolls

Energy Orb Master - Use Energy Orb to lock enemies for over 1,000 seconds
* You may extend Crown Prince's Energy Orb freeze time by ascension 'Enhancement Lasts'.

Dual-Wield Elite - Dual-Wield for over 60 seconds in a single activation
* You may extend Ao Bai's Dual-wielding duration by ascension 'Battle-Tested', and when you reach its maximum level, you can dual-wield all time long with enough ammo to consume. Dual-Wield for 5 mins to unlock the achievement and level frame called 'Full Force'.

Air Strike - Kill 5 or more enemies in a single Leap for 50 times
* Find a group of low-HP monsters, leap. Golem's levitated stones and Ichthyosaurus Offspring's venoms are also regarded as enemies. You may expand Qing Yan's leap AoE range by ascension 'Gigantic Explosion'.





Son of Thunder - Use Fatal Current for more than 1000 seconds
* You may get an extended duration of Lei Luo's Fatal Current by applying ascension 'Magical Supply'. You may also just release the skill without firing to add time to the achievement.



Sword Storm - Summon more than 10,000 flying swords with Tao
* You may multiply Tao's flying swords by ascension 'Sword Shadow' and 'Luminous Heart'. Swords summoned by Tao's secondary skills count too. You may also just stand still and release the skill to add sword count to the achievement.

Absolute Defense - Block attacks 500 times in total with Tidal Aspis
* Need to resist enemy damage

Spare No Effort [DLC] - Consume all energy to cast Spiritual Flame for 200 times.
* 'Consuming all energy' means to fully charge and consume the Spiritual Flame, ascension 'Energetic Spirit' should be lv.0 or lv.3, otherwise it's not counted. Pick ascensions like 'Nourishing Fire' and 'Endless Wildfires' to recover energy faster.

Deadly Strike [DLC] - Defeat 500 enemies with Soul Strike
* Easiest way: just leave corrupt monks alone, hold a launcher and keep striking explosive lanterns. Killing 10 monsters in one Soul Strike unlocks achievement 'Soul Taker'.


Destiny's Choice [DLC] - Obtain Legendary Astroaspects Astrohouse 200 times
* As shown, Legendary Astrohouse is made of Legendary (gold) and/or Wild (red) Astroaspects, which is easy to obtain in the late stage with ascension 'Fate Thread' and enough Scrolls. Ascension 'Fate Thread' lv.3 almost guarantees a Legendary Astrohouse in any condition when owning many Scrolls. Do not choose ascension 'Persistence' too early.



* Here's a shortcut: with ascension 'Astrological Magazine' and initial weapon 'Foundry', simply roll Legendary Astroaspects by reloading and using primary. Deposit unupgraded Scrolls and select 'Legendary Most' in Scroll Upgrade Strategy to increase the chance of getting Legendary Astroaspects.



Shelter From Storm [DLC] - Use Mecha Drop to taunt enemies 500 times
* Monsters are taunted as long as they're in Mecha Drop AoE. The count can add quickly in populated Hyperborean Jokul.

The Most Slient Winter [DLC] - Execute enemies 50 times through Frost Burial
* Frost Burial's target is executed if its HP level is below the lethal line.


Spirit and Shade [DLC] - Accumulate duration 2000s in Ink Shade or Ink Spirit status
* Ink Shade activates when Ink Point is higher than 15 (U-shaped progress bar at lower-mid exceeds its centerline), and Ink Form activates Ink Spirit. Easy to unlock with a couple of runs completed.

These achievements correspond with the in-game profile level frame, which can be found and selected at the top-right of the main menu. Each exclusive frame for each hero comes with a unique challenge for players to complete.

Energy Chain - In solo mode, freeze the same elite monster with Energy Orbs for at least 10 consecutive seconds
＊Ascension: 'Chained Duration' lv.2+ (essential, maximizes freezing duration); 'Power Source' (get extra orbs)
　Scrolls: 'Energy Storage', 'Magic Watch' or 'Terrific Crossfire'. (as an alternative/complement of ascension 'Power Source')
　Get two or more Energy Orb, release another orb when the freeze icon flashes (3s / 5s depending on 'Chained Duration' level). Normal difficulty is recommended in case of elites' getting affixes 'Resistive' to shorten freeze time.




Full Force - Have the duration of a single Dual-Wield last at least 300 seconds
＊Ascensions: 'Battle Tested' lv.3 (essential), 'Ammo Expert'
　Scrolls: any ammo recovery scroll
　Weapons: rifle and SMG with high RoF
　Keep firing and killing to extend Dual-Weild duration. Can unlock the achievement 'Dual-Wield Elite' at the same time.

Soaring Eagle - Gain at least 3,000 stacks of 'Easy Kill' in a single run
＊Ascensions: 'Easy Kill' (mandatory), 'Cleave Carnival' (recommend), 'Death Mark', 'Absolute Advantage'...
　Play cleave-style Qing Yan, ensure a high cleave damage and reach 3,000 stacks by slaying. Also, you may let corrupt monks keep summoning low-HP lanterns to reach 3,000 stack. ('Cleave Carnival' is necessary in this case, since killing lanterns drop nothing)

You can farm easy kill with corrupt monks as long you have at least 1 level of cleave carnival and you hit all the explosive lanterns you should get between 10 to 15 stacks per summon.

Thunderous Growl - In solo mode, clear all 4 acts using only snipers/foundry in nightmare difficulty or above
＊Lei Luo is born to be a sniper. It's OK to pick up a non-sniper weapon and drop it without causing damage.

Sword Dance - Summon at least 45 flying swords in a single 'Swords Out'
＊Ascensions: 'Luminous Heart' (Max Blade Heart stacks: 6 -> 9), 'Sword Shadow' (Flying Swords each stack summons: 3 -> 6)
　Consume ammo to stack Blade Heart and release Flying Swords, simple mathematics.

Blue Wave - Punch your enemy with at least 80 stacks of Fist Sensation
＊Ascensions: 'Rogue Wave' lv.3 (essential), 'Irrepressible Surge' (essential), speed increasing ones
　Scrolls: speed increasing ones
　It's possible to keep Dashing with a high speed after killing an enemy and meanwhile gain a high stack of Fist Sensation, and don't forget to Punch often.



Legend of Crimson Fox [DLC] - In single play at Nightmare difficulty or above, defeat any boss with Spiritual Flame only
＊Easy to complete with Golem or Wind God. Remember to fire your weapon carefully (especially those with AoE damage) and abandon scrolls that cause damage to boss ('Giant Slayer', 'Final Judgement', 'Blazing Hoop', etc.)

Scrolls of higher quality are powerful indeed, but too rare to make an all-rounded build that fights and survives. Remember to reroll outside of backpack and discard the Scrolls accordingly. Rerolling Scrolls inside of backpack could make the Scroll become of higher quality, which is regarded as picking up a Scroll of another quality.

Never Defeated [DLC] - In solo mode at nightmare difficulty or above, pass all acts and defeat Pole Monarch with Iron Wing having not been defeated
＊Avoid ascension: 'Suicide Device', AVOID!! You may miss the chance to revive Iron Wing with this ascension.

　Unlocks once Ink Point (U-shaped progress bar at lower-mid with a counter) reaches 180.

It's not necessary to defeat Polar Monarch (Hyperborean Jokul boss) to complete the speedrun achievements, which means all we have to do is only to defeat the boss in Twin Fjord and return to lobby by portal.
As a reminder, there are 3 speedrun achievements, namely for normal, elite or nightmare difficulty, and any level of Reincarnation does not equivalent to any of the aforesaid difficulties.

In a nutshell, to rush to the boss, good ascensions, powerful weapons, appropriate scrolls are all essential to firepower and survival capability. If confident and skilled enough, solo speedrun is never a hard thing since enemies are weaker and less. It is the cooperation that matters most when challenging speedrun with teammates as trifles including exchanging items and waiting for somebody left behind would be time-consuming without close coordination. Make sure everyone in your team is skilled and keeps speedrun goals in mind.

• Explore easy hidden stages (like rolling stones, elite monsters, challenges) in Longling Tomb to get some scrolls, and skip hidden stages in Anxi Desert and Twin Fjord.
  
• TEAM: Don't waste time at the end of a stage / level (wait for someone behind, exchange items, hesitate about ascensions, etc.).
  
• SOLO: Run faster. Timing will pause in menus / UI anyways.
  
• Clear enemies faster and more thoroughly, to avoid searching for them.
  
• Before entering Anxi Desert, quit or give up the speedrun goal if ascensions, weapons and scrolls are not what you wanted, or boss is hard to fight.

Here's a time reference table. The time point is the boss level entrance time (approximately).

Here's another time reference if you want to significantly increase your firepower in Longling Tomb by clearing every hidden stage:

* Timing will pause when the game is loading and a boss is defeated (during which the team can exchange items and discuss strategies). Menus (Pause, ascension picking, Peddler and Craftsman etc.) also pause timing in solo mode.


Normal difficulty can be finished within 15 minutes, simply by skipping hidden stages and having an overwhelming loadout.


In harder modes, monsters become more powerful by not only improved HP and attacks, but also special features like "immortal" or "defensive", and these special enemies should be firstly taken care of. Some elite monsters also show up out of nowhere, so be prepared for everything.

For an efficient team of 4 super skilled and lucky players, they may complete their nightmare speedrun with little effort. Also, you may try your luck by matchmaking to meet some awesome teammates.

But I'm an ordinary player, and I tried hard to have this speedrun achievement done. After many attempts to figure out a stable and practicable speedrun method, I found Demonlore with Advanced Depot is the best solution, which I have mentioned before in "Powerful Fire".

Ascensions: just increase weapon and elemental damage
Weapon: Demonlore
Scrolls: Advanced Depot / Skateboarder, Long Shot, any weapon and element damage increasing scrolls, any ammo recovery scroll

* How Demonlore works? Well, Demonlore has an increased damage (its maximum buff is 99) for each crit hit until reloaded, which means it can continuously deal high damage with infinite magazine (scrolls like Advanced Depot, Skateboarder, Bloody Ammo)

With this method, you may spend 13 minutes in Longling Tomb searching for Demonlore and Advanced Depot scroll, and you'll find it easy to fight later if you succeed in finding both of them. With 99 buffs and things I listed above, your Demonlore will be able to wipe out everything you pointed to just in seconds.

Now, you are lucky enough to have both Demonlore and Advanced Depot in Longling Tomb, speedrun is very promising. If you are not in luck, you can also expect to find the magical Advanced Depot scroll later, but before that, you have to deal with enemies in the usual way, which consumes a lot. So, why not try your luck in Longling Tomb over and over again to get both Demonlore and Advanced Depot?
