You can put a gold slime in these and they won't run/despawn it's the only way you can farm gold slimes (legitimately), also, there's a chance you'll see Pinky in the slime rancher sequel, since it seems like they're bringing back most if not all of the original slimes from this game which means that pink-dervish largos are all but guaranteed
