Interior

"Drive the DeLorean, Live the dream."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀-Official TV Commercial

1) Exterior

Design of the DeLorean, and its SS304 unpainted stainless steel is iconic enough to not confuse with any other cars.

• Hood

Early 1981
Fuel cap and side groves
Late 1981
Side groves
1982~
Flat, De Lorean badge
We can safely assume that ingame model is based on later model.

• Rim

Early 1981
Late 1981~
Early batch had almost matte grey rims complete with matching cap.

• Rear view

UK/RHD
US/LHD
Our DeLorean here is US spec.

• Suspension height

Left- US spec / Right- Original spec
To comply with infamous US bumper height law, DMC had no choice but to bump up suspensions.
we can see that the ingame car received some aftermarket treatment in this regard.

2) Interior

Matches with ingame model/textures.

• Radio

1981-1982 Craig
1982~ ASI
Sometime in 1982 they switched the radio, and it was a minor improvement.
ingame texture shows the older Craig model.

1) Exterior

F40 was an unique model, while cars like Venturi 400GT and Koenig Testarossa possess similar look, you'll have no problem telling apart F40 from those cars.

• Front view

Euro spec
US spec
LM
American bumper regulation strikes again, giving F40 a huge splitter and moustache. and side lights in literal side of the car. thankfully, our F40 is an original spec.

• Rear view

Euro spec
US spec
LM
Same rules, addition of wide thick black strip bumper and foglights are moved to side in US export version. ingame model has, for some reason, LM's look.

2) Interior

VAZ 2103
VAZ 2105
VAZ 2106

VAZ 2106
VAZ 2107

Removal of chrome from the rear reflector lights
1986
Removal of rear reflector lights, chrome removed from rocker panels

1993
Removed chrome from the front grille
1993

1) Exterior

• Comparison of similar looking japanese hatchbacks in the era

Toyota AE86 GTS
Nissan N13 Pulsar NX

• Front view

1985 AE86 GT-S
1983 AE86 GT-V
1985 AE86 GT-APEX
There's only minor differences between all AE85/AE86 Trueno models, you'll need to pop up hood to properly identify. lack of corner lights suggests our AE86 is one of the early models, assuming it's not upgraded from AE85.

• Taillights

1983~ Early type
1985~ Late type
Same notes as above.
