This guide is very short regardless, you're lazy just read it

Basically, use the extra points from your merc's weapon on bloodlust and a full set of armor or perks, and find yourself a weapon on the battlefield. The equivalent of taking steroids.
Straight to the Point
The first thing we are going to do is to create a new mercenary.
Once we do that, we are going to add these perks.

1.) Bloodlust
2.) Fireproof
3.) Cat

The only perk we really need here is bloodlust, the other perks can be whatever.

Armor
We now need to make our character look as cool as possible. You have the points, give him the best!
3/3/3

The weapon
Sadly, all we get is a cleaver. BUT HEAR ME OUT!!!!

This is just my small little guide, that is about a guideline! You don't need to follow me step for step! Let me explain.

Don't need as much armor? Go 2/2/3, and use those extra 6 points to get the perk Rush. Rush is a very good perk especially when used with bloodlust. That's just an example. You can do whatever you want, as long as you follow this rule.

The boomers of mordhau don't want to tell you this, but the best way to survive as long as possible and kill as much as possible, you need to become a weapon thief.

You must spawn in with no weapon, or a weapon that costs very little points. You then need to stack all those points into either armor, and mostly perks.

You then need to find a weapon on the battlefield. You might die without finding one sometimes, but if you just stick behind your teammates you'll find one, and then you can find a better one, and then you can become that god I was talking about.

Goodluck my brave mercenaries. I will be seeing you on the battlefield!
Conclusion
You don't need to read any more than this, I gave you my knowledge of how to succeed to your best ability. Keep reading if you want :D

The best weapons to pickup in my 1,000 hour opinion are these, ranked best to worst.
1.) Zwei
2.) Battleaxe/Waraxe
3.) Bardiche
4.) Messer
5.) Maul (I'm not a maul user, tho I'm sure Maul can be ranked #1 if I was.)

But again, I most likely have a very different play style to your own, and I can't advise the same to you. Maul users, mostly goes to you!!

It's a different playstyle completely.
IMO, the most fun playstyle for me these days is being a "spy engineer" in which I'm basically 0/2/2 with a wooden mallet, mace and toolbox and fire/cat as perks if possible. (sometimes i did 0/0/2) or is it 3? I cant remember the spy armor anymore I don't play mordhau LOL

I use to run this guide all the time, but that was when I was always tryharding. It was so easy to get a polehammer with this guide, as a lot of people use it. You're almost unstoppable with it and all the perks.

That said, I don't find that fun anymore

That's all well and good but spawning as weapon scavenger means sacrificing consistency and efficiency for most players. You're constantly switching weapons and wasting time obtaining them.

Having full armor and perks doesn't really help all that much if you're still mediocre with the weapon you end up wielding. That being said it's a good and fun way to get to know the dynamics of all the weapons in the game.

i'm partial to the playstyle of bloodlust+tank with full 3/3/3 and bandages. You have to scavenge a good weapon like you said here, but you're an absolute monster in teamfights once you do. Lets you soak enough damage to trade hits with people no problem

Actual guide -

1. Wear basically 0 armor
2. Pick maul
3. Master ridiculous drags+accels+target swapping

Congratulations, you are now a epic mordhau gamer

It means armor rating. 1 being level 1, 2 being level 2... etc
Head is first, then armor, then legs.
so 2/2/2 is all medium armor
2/3/3 is medium helm and heavy armor and legs
WHAT 22 May, 2021 @ 3:37pm
what do the numbers mean? like 2/2/2

I tested this out... and while I didn't like it by my preference in general it's a solid strategy. You've got that down bruv.
