This guide will help you fix framerate issues, the game speed, crashes, controller problems and more! 
All of this applies to the PC port of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139.

SpecialK v21.04.24 for NieR Replicant: https://www.mediafire.com/file/tcdzripnpsdmp9t/SK_v21.04.24_NieR_Replicant.zip (Extract this in the game folder and everything should be setup automatically)
SpecialK Wiki: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Special_K (if you wanna install it manually)

The NieR Replicant Remastered PC version needs some fixes. 
I didn't experience any big issues myself yet, apart from seeing that the protagonist was running way faster than I remembered on the original game.
Why is this happening you might wonder? This is happening because the game's speed is tied to the framerate, and it's easily fixed by capping the framerate at 60FPS.

This guide should cover most of the issues many people find at the moment when the game just launched, bear in mind this might get patched in the future. (Hopefully faster than NieR Automata)
