You need SOS flare only if you're even bad at easy mode.
Aka this guide is for true easy mode, sit back and watch others play the game for you.

actually the easy mode is solo,
use palico gadget defender shield or healing bug.
try read & remember monster attack pattern.

just bring switch axe and fit in tool maintenance in ur build and use rocksteady and temporal mantle is all you need
