IMPORTANT
  • Favorite any item (right-click → “favorite”) if you don’t want it to be packed!

What Does EasyPacking Do?
  • This mod lets you bundle multiple copies of the same item (often in 5s or 10s), saving 30–50% weight.
  • Works with vanilla items by default; also supports a select few other mods as well via Addons.
  • For more details (including item lists, translations, and FAQ), see the discussions below!

Quick Tips
  • Just enable EasyPacking to pack vanilla items.
  • If you see an error about “requires firearmmod” or any other mod, you’ve accidentally enabled an EasyPacking Addon without having that mod installed. Disable that Addon or install the matching mod.

If you click View All (7) and check the discussions there is a FAQ. See if that helps, the addons are both for EasyPacking and a third-party mod you need to download. I think that might be where you are getting confused. (I too am trying to figure out what information you aren't getting).

There is a limit to how much information can be directly on a workshop items front steam page, and it's understandable that not all will recognize the names of the mods the addons require or read the descriptions of the mods in-game figuring that out.

Due to how pinned topics work on Steam, the FAQ isn't here on the first page as it should be.

This doesn't make sense... I've accidentally enabled an "Easy Packing Addon" ? This mod and it's additional ModIDs (FirearmsB41 and GunFighter2) are the only "addons" related to this mod or packing in general... so what are you referring to??

also, "disable that addon" - there is no add on - "or install the matching mod" - what matching mod? what are you referring to? this couldn't be less clear tbh

If I am understanding your issue correctly- Steam Error 19, you should look at this. I found this quickly by searching your issue.

ehi guys i need help please....EasyPackingFirearmsB41 mod have some problem...it show in the list not enable and red colored...in the server i can make a safehouse claiming the building...it make a crash and the only option are "log out to desktop" or "exit the game" with the notification of this * error 19*

Can you explain more thoroughly what you mean? We do use a WIP texture, and currently from knowledge it is used (along with the WIP model) on some of the electronic items- along with a specific WIP Model. Is this what you mean?

There is planned future updates, specifically when Build 42 is farther along!

I do hope the boxes have textures soon; at least item textures that it since it's odd to see 'em with the missing textures. Even if temporary and changes in future.
Since most of time given their lack of models you just stuff them in container but would be better for a more visual way to spot them besides reading the item name.

Otherwise love this mod especially for a lot of it's models and texture work.

Hope to see another update with more stuff to pack and such.
