To spell out the winning strategy:
First, go left to right in the first row, skipping the fourth card. One of these is a skull.
Then, for the bottom 3, choose the leftmost card in the second row. If it's a skull, then the other red card is clear. If it's a valid card, then the other red card is a skull.
At this point, you now know where every skull is located (you've determined which of the 3 row-1 possibilities, and which of the 2 red cards contains the skull) and you must simply match all the face cards.
