HMS Cry Havoc!

Description
Made for Reforged Eden . UPDATED FOR REFORGED EDEN 1.7!!!

The HMS Cry Havoc!

( Video Combat Demo in Workshop Images )

The Cry Havoc is a Vertical attack ground pounder & expeditionary Carrier. Built specifically for High-G Dive-bombing maneuvers over POI's, the Cry Havoc is meant to equip 14 Plasma Zirax turrets ( comes standard with regular plasmas, so you're ready to fight for your zirax turrets ), it uses it's under-wing plasmas to great effect against even the most heavily shielded and armored POIs, knocking them out in just seconds. Put on your headset to drown out the screams of your enemies as you unleash a rain of hot plasma upon them!

Tired of POI's built specifically to ruin your lines of sight and prevent CV attack? Encountering Sunken or depressed bases you can't hit? Well they didn't see this coming. The Cry Havoc attacks from a 90 Degree angle, straight down, and can handle the highest G forces the game dishes out, you can roll, thrust, and maneuver face-down at 10+ G's ( with ammo weight ), You're 5G+ in every direction, and 10G+ Forward, backward, and in Hover.

When you've wiped the surface clean, the Cry Havoc can unload as many industrial mining or salvage vehicles as your heart desires, with an oversized HV hangar and space for 8+ SVs on it's Top, the ship is not just a ground attack vehicle, but a mobile forward operating base and Light-Carrier.

The CH Vertical attack Carrier employs 10 Side-vertical mounted Minigun emplacements with Omni-directional protection, so while you're maneuvering and pounding POIs back to the stone age, your miniguns are locking down & putting into a spin all of the Drones around you. Once that POI's lights go out, you can hammer down those drones with 2 Cabin mounted Heavy Rocket Launchers, also great for coring out defeated POIs.

If all of that wasn't enough, the craft functions effectively as an all-in-one, and is very capable at Orbital combat, too. Switch out your forehead mounted minis for something a bit more explosive and the craft will take on Capital Vessels up to & including Dreadnaughts, if you can manage to keep your shields up :)

At 100 Yaw/Pitch, the craft is a joy to fly, in any environment. Piloting, Combat, and utility-enthusiasts will not be disappointed, this Light-Carrier does it all, and does it with just a twitch of your mouse. This little girl is Reforged Eden 's lightest, tightest, multi-role carrier & combat ship.

That's odd, I can't seem to find many weapons in the RE config that list a substantially higher damage multiplier versus xeno compared to glass or combat steel, other thna a few that are 1.5x vs 1.0x, whereas xeno blocks are 3750hp vs 1500hp for heavy glass. Heavy glass blocks say that their material is "hullcombat" which is the same material type as combat steel. I hope I'm not calculating it wrong on my spreadsheet...if so, that might explain why everyone seems to like t1 positrons yet my calculations show that t1 lasers beat them on a shield per CPU basis and missiles blow them away on an armor per CPU basis.

I generally get my xeno really early on by running an abandoned POI or two then salvaging it into a T1 starter CV, then dumping it into the factory, so I generally have a ton of it well before I have a ton of silicon for glass, but then again I probably don't play the same as others.

And a lot of people wouldnt have Xenomaterial on hand at the point in the game when they would want to spawn this in, it's a early-mid-game ship. When I can I try to keep materials as simple as possible, which is why you wont see me using a lot of the new turrets in my stock blueprints. I like T2 Positrons, but the 4-6 hours it might take you to acquire the superconductors you could go and acquire an advanced core or bastion shield. Some materials are needlessly tedious to gather.

I still prefer the glass since Energy weapons melt through Xeno like butter.

Oh nice, looks like you updated it for RE 1.7! Protip: They changed the stats on Heavy Glass, now Xeno has a much higher strength to weight ratio, so you may want to factor that in for your future builds.

Glad to hear it Roland and thank you :) I will be releasing a revamp of this ship this week!

Ty TZBaker! I still use this one quite a bit, hard to match the amount of weaponry you can strap onto it while staying Non-quantum.

I been using this for awhile now and realized I havnet praised this ship publicly. Legit hunter / killer that is a blast to fly. Can acquire early in your playthrough and will carry down deep into late game encounters. Thx for the build ArtemisRouge

They can also be found (zirax plasma turrets) in loot boxes especially it seems from deep space radar stations, I have found 4 in that poi thru two raids

You have to attain your own Zirax plasma turrets Muffvn, they are not buildable or allowable in blueprints. You have to retrieve them from zirax ships.
