Overkill. Andromeda doesn't require a whole lot to operate.

@wkelly121212 yeah its fast. since DDR5 is faster on certain workload like productivity,you wont need DDR5 for gaming.

you know.. this game handles 1920x1080 in Ultra well... but i dunno about 3840x2160.
Kinda comes across the game isn't not very optimized or something.

So is 3200 considered fast? I thought it was slow these days with DDR5 coming out.

Ram for a game like his is essential, sometimes even more than Vram, i used to have a lot of spikes and breaks even at 60 fps due to the lack of ram, i still have 1600mhz, works fine

An RTX card is overkill. Also i7 4790, the devil's cpu is a... hell of a cpu... I mean, 4ghz easily on all cores, that is more than enough for pratically every game. Overclock and it will be even better. I would have gotten better RAM though, but intel cpus are not really picky about RAM. I am also using old cpus and I usually run 2133 or 2400 minimum, the gains are marginal after 1866, but I would never settle for anything less than 1866 though. Depending on the RAM you might also be able to overclock it to CL 11 and 2133mhz though. I still got an FX 8350 btw, lol. (also other cpus lying around, like an i7-6700k).

Ya I guess this game doesn't use to much VRAM, that's usually where I take a hit but this game runs good with 4 GB DDR6

Now i own an rtx 3050 8gb, got more or less 100 fps on ultra, could have more but my cpu is 9 years old by now
