Opis
Sapiens: A Grand Expansion for Civilization V - Requires Core Mod
Sapiens is a full-spectrum expansion for Civilization V that transforms nearly every system in the game, without losing the essence of what makes Civ compelling. Designed as a complete gameplay experience rather than a collection of disconnected features, it reshapes how you build empires, wage wars, pursue knowledge, and shape your legacy.

Each civilization has six unique components, enhancing variety and strategic identity.
To display more than two Components use Unique Bonus Enhancements[www.picknmixmods.com].

Whether you aim to conquer the world with legendary armies, develop powerful belief systems, or elevate your people through art and innovation, Sapiens gives you the tools--and the challenge--to make every game unforgettable.

From reworked civilizations to entirely new systems like Great Thinkers, Mass Transit, and Found City-States, this mod pushes the boundaries of what Civ V can offer. Beneath the surface, dozens of original mechanics and world wonders deepen the strategic sandbox, all supported by a robust DLL overhaul for added stability and polish.

Explore a living world filled with volcanoes, chartered pioneers, religious artifacts, and legendary units like the SR-71 Blackbird and Spartan Hoplites.

oh and if you want Enhanced UI, only the legacy (the one that ends in "g") version works. Anything newer than that will crash the game.

I played a game of Emperor with Songhai and I can reach Atomic Era just fine. I did not face any issues with diplomacy. In fact Morocco voluntarily became my Vassal and I forced a few others to become my Vassal through war. So far so good.

if you want my "mod state", email me at [email protected]

I also use: No Road Maintenance (v2) just because i don't want to have to deal with road costs (especially since caravans in sapiens will lay roads automatically). I also use UI - Highlight Destination (v3), it's just an awesome mod. And Promotions - Expansion Pack (v9), another nice mod that adds a few cool promotions and shows the whole tree to help you plan better.

I can confirm that all of this work. However - and I'm not sure if this is due to my use of Ingame Editor (IGE) - the game gets noticeably unstable starting in around Industrial/Modern Era. Clicking the tech tree often causes my game to crash, so I try not to click it much and plan all my research ahead and queue them. As I mentioned, I use IGE because there are bugs in Sapiens.

I was able to dig through my hard disk to find copies of the mod that used to work in 2024. I was able to use only those mods to play a game right now. Specifically I am using Sapiens (v538), Gaia's Core Mod (v548), with a few quality of life mods. these 2 main mods can be gotten from Dschiss' modpack. remember, you must activate only the core mod first, start a game, quit the game and then activate Sapiens, then start your actual game.

For quality of life mods:
Ingame Editor (v39). I use this because Sapiens has some bugs, for example, popping great writer gives you less culture than advertised, so I use IGE to compensate. However, IGE makes the game unstable, and I often crash, so I usually turn on IGE only when I need it (it doesn't affect your save), apply the "hack" I want, save the game, quit civ5, relaunch and reload without IGE.

Hi everyone! Why cant i get an offer or give one of a friendship declaration? Even if i use Dschiss modpack there is no such option. I mean technically there is a button and i do receive frendship offers every time i concuer someone and they become my vassals but never othervwise. Now i cant trade technologies cause of that
