This guide details all the enemies/monsters in Loop Hero and explains how to make them appear.
Have been updated with 3 new monsters added in 1.1 update.

Common enemies #1
Slime



Has a 5% chance of spawning every day on a wasteland.

Ratwolf


Spawns every 2 days on a grove.

Spider



Spawns every day on a tile adjacent to a spider cocoon.

Skeleton



Spawns every 3 days on a cemetery.

Skeleton Archer



May spawn in place of a skeleton from chapter III.

Cracked Skeleton


May spawn at the death of a skeleton or a skeleton archer from chapter II, when it has the "Not finished" skill.

Chest



Spawns at the beginning of each loop on a battlefield.

Mimic



May spawn in place of a chest on a battlefield.

Blood Clot



Spawns every 4 days on a blood path.

Ghost



May spawn when an enemy dies on a battlefield.

Ghost of a Ghost



May spawn when a ghost dies when at least 2 battlefields share the same area of effect.

Prime Matter



May spawn when a ghost of a ghost dies when at least 3 battlefields share the same area of effect.

Vampire


Spawns in every fight in the area of effect of a vampire mansion.

Vampire Mage


Spawns in every fight in the shared area of effect of a vampire mansion and an abandoned bookery.

Swarm of Bats



Spawns in fights against vampires and vampire mages from chapter II, when they have the "Bloody Pets" skill.

Time Watcher

Spawns in fights in the area of effect of a temporal beacon, unless there is a vampire.

Time Watcher Mage


Spawns in fights in the shared area of effect of a temporal beacon and an abandoned bookery, unless there is a vampire.

Tome

Spawns in fights in the area of effect of an abandoned bookery, or upon the death of a vampire mage or a guardian mage.

Goblin



Spawns every day on a tile adjacent to a goblin camp.

Goblin Leader



Spawns every day on a tile adjacent to a goblin camp.

Archer gobelin



Takes part in battles on tile adjacent to a goblin lookout.

Ghoul



Spawns in each loop on a ransacked village.

Bandit



Spawns every 2 days on a tile adjacent to a bandit camp. If possible, place itself on a village.

Harpy



Spawns every 2 days on a random tile after creating a mountain peak.

Gargoyle



Spawns every 3 days on a random tile after clearing a treasury.

Flesh Golem



Spawns on a tile adjacent to a blood grove.

Living Armor


Spawns on a tile adjacent to a forge after recycling 6 pieces of equipment.

Mosquito



Spawns every 3 days on a swamp.

Scarecrow



Spawns every 4 days on wheat fields or overgrown fields.

Fields of Blades



Spawns in empty battle locations on overgrown fields.

Scorch Worm



Spawns every 2 days on ruins.

Fishman



Spawns every 3 days on a tile adjacent to reeds.

Siren



Spawns on every loop on a tile adjacent to a shipwreck.

Jellyfish



Is summoned every 3 attacks by a siren with her "Summoner" ability from chapter IV.

Wooden Warrior



Spawns every 2 days on a village (?).

Dark slim



Destroy any roadside tile, as goblin camp, with Oblivion when a monster appears on it, at the beginning of a new day, before it is on the road. A dark slime will appear in the next battle on the adjacent tile.

Witch (v1.1)



They can join fights within the Witch Hut's area.

Protective totem (v1.1)



They are summoned in fights by witch with her "Totem" ability from chapter IV, if there is an empty combat space.

Sand spirit (v1.1)



They spawn every loop from a Ziggurat, and have 33% chance to join any fight. They are not affected by the Desert / Sand Dunes tiles.

Spawn during the fight against The Priestess.

Frog King



Place swamps on ALL tiles in the road.

Remember to take Oblivion to remove any Lich's Palaces if you are playing on Chapter I or IV.
The Frog King has only 2 HP, takes only 1 HP of damage per hit and has 99% dodge. The fight can be quite long.

Ermac


Appears if the player chooses a secret skill %=/*+ during an expedition.

This skill appears in the list after receiving almost all available skills in one expedition (at least 12), so that only 2 remain for selection. Once selected, it summons Ermac on the same tile as the player stands so it can be encountered in the next round.

Each attack strips the player of one skill previously gained.

The 4 True Creators: Deceiver, Blinch, The Random & Finlal





Place 5 of the AOE cards listed above and the Oblivion card in your deck, then start any map on any act. You need to find a “U”-shaped curve on the map — it can be pointed in any direction. In this area, you need to place 5 of your AOE tiles so the effects are overlapping on the “U”-shaped curve.

If you place the tiles correctly, one of the tiles will begin to glow with blue sparks. Place the Oblivion tile on the blue sparks to generate the secret boss.

A ziggurat appears for every 7 Desert/Sand Dunes tiles.
