I'm glad someone else found Gambler+Clown, though leaving Illusionist open against a human opponent can play against both of them. (Gambler and Clown skills may both target clones.)
PDH is a great last go-to character for the clown gambling comp because he provides decent damage coverage to groups of enemies. More importantly, he has an ult that synergizes immensely with gambler. since PDH's ult makes ally attacks poison, gamblers skill that hits random targets is triggering this on the entire enemy team, this ult also lasts a pretty long time. at the same time clown is doing burst damage to healers while illusionist causes chaos and can also clone gambler and PDH for even more PDH ult value and snowballing. very fun comp.

Assassins with attack rating 10-20 ish lower than Priest, can't burst her down, unless she has nerfed health. Knowing that I have advantage in stats I will often let My Back-line tank the Assassin provided that one carries can Nuke said assassin out of the orbit after the initial attack.
Priest + Sniper is a classic example. Sniper will cast volley of shots before , they can be bursted down.
This also depends on the stage of the game, Base form Warewolf wrecked havoc on my party , because healing was too low and it starts with decent amount of hp.
But the game nerfed it's health by nearly half
Range and speed is a Huge consideration, because eventually units that are multipurpose rain supreme.Shrine Maiden does about 3k healing+dmg across a battle and has 120 range, she is only outraged by the likes of sniper.
