I restarted actually playing the game, and noticed world trading was hard to achieve. You never know if the settlements will have what you are looking for, and the waste of food made the whole thing not worth it for me.
That's why I made this mod!

What's for sale allows you to know what the world settlements sell before visiting them.

By default, you only get trade stock information when you have a powered comms console. And only industrial and higher tech level faction will be able to send you their trade stock information.
But there is also settings that allow to change those behaviors. Go check them out!

Hitting the search bar thats in the same row as quests and research makes my game LAG as hell

Using 1.4, I noticed that hitting the trade restock (every 30 days) when you're on a caravan completely breaks the mod. The trade stock button doesn't work anymore. I could consistently reproduce/avoid it by being in a caravan or not when the restock happens.

BROKEN, do not use. The error reported by ignis happens right after a new colony started when you try to open the mod's UI.

Has anyone gotten this to work with the SOS2 experimental build? It doesn't show the two buttons for "will buy" "will sell" when clicking a faction settlement on the world map. Trading otherwise works fine, the market tab to search specific items also works, but come on who wants to travel all the way to a base just to see what they have...

Excellent mod, has a gigantic impact on gameplay, especially if you're searching for specific persona weapons, psylinks and genes (especially genes!). Even if it's 200 tiles away, you can send a miner with a stack of chemfuels and a few components, and chain drop pods to get a specific item. Should be in base game, thanks

Unfortunately, this isn't really something easily solvable, using the search limit as Twilight said can greatly reduce the impact of it

@celest7k - Yeah if you have a super crowded planet might want to use the search limit setting to only hit a portion of the settlements.
