[OUTDATED] Change Your Capital

Opis
The functionality for this mod has been patched out by CA (understandably so), so this mod is now useless. Sorry!

Change Your Capital:
Want to move your capital to Castle Drakenhof as Vlad, or to Altdorf as Gelt? This mod allows you to do just that, by adding a 'Change Capital' button next to the rename settlement button. To move your capital to another region it must be owned by you and must also not be your current capital. When clicked, a sequence of events will occur where your game automatically saves and the resulting save file will be then modified by an external program to change your capital region. This process is done in much the same way as manually editing the save file using EditSF to change your capital, only automated. After this, provided you are not on Legendary difficulty, the game will automatically reload the modified save file; if you are on Legendary difficulty you will need to manually do so.

Compatability:
This mod should be compatible with most other mods except for any which happen to also replace the settlement_panel UI file. This mod only works on Windows and .NET Framework 4.6.1 is required, though it has only been tested on Windows 10. It may also not work if your anti-virus blocks it. Lastly, it is disabled in multiplayer since the method of changing capitals would cause desync.

Any plans on making a similar mod for Warhammer 3?

This used to be very useful in the Eye of the Vortex Campaign, otherwise I just ignore the rituals. Anyway a faction should be able to change its capital by default since it influences trade agreements.

Will state what others have stated before because it looks like those commenting does not even read one previous comment: You can still do this with SaveParser, which is something you have to download, not a mod on workshop. Read previous comments for more info.

Also, in my experience, you have to do the Capital index +1 for the correct number. Lets say 63 is the capital you want when searching the Capital index, the correct one will then be 64.

I wish there were an updated version of this mod, The Barrow Legion starts with a garbage capital and I want to move mine to Massif Orcal without razing the Blackstone Post

And for those interested, if you don't know region index that you want for capital, you can check it in Edit tab of SaveParser: click Region(s) button, and you will see a list of region with index/name value pairs. But to get the correct Capital, take index of region you want and add 1 to it

Quick notes for anyone who was looking online to change their capital like I was ( I played an Eight Peaks campaign). To change your capital, download SaveParser. Load your save, parse the faction table, double click your faction and change the Capital index value.
