How to run the game on Linux

There seems to be some issues getting the game to launch on Linux. Not to say this will solve every issue you may encounter, but this is what worked for me.

    Locate the game in your library and right click.In the contextual menu that appears, locate the launch options section.Simply add
    -opengl
    to this section and exit.At this point, the game should launch. Keep in mind, there may be other issues beyond the scope of the guide that prevent the game from launching but this is what worked for me :)

When the game launchs, everything may have a white "veil", which was fixed by setting the shadow and visual quality to low in the in-game visuals menu.

also, opengl doesn't seem to be enabled anymore :(

I see the same thing as fm'latghor. after the vomit, a loading screen comes up and then i get left in a surreal space where some assets are loaded, but the background is all black and there's no sound. all inputs are disabled.

Unfortunately my issue isn't launching the game, I figured that out fine. It's when I get to the "Escape" part and it's just a black screen and nothing loads.
