Before anything else, dear English-speaking users, I wish to sincerely apologise for any grammar mistake you'll find in that guide. English is not my native language and, even if I practice a lot that tongue, I know I still do plenty of mistakes. If you spot some, do not hesitate to report them in the comment section. That said, let's go find those tablets. Despite what it seems, very few are hidden in remotely places or far from our sights. To be honest, most of them are almost un-missable... Except that, when surrounded by Kleers, Kamikazes and other friendly aliens, it can be easy to miss one of them. This guide will help you so that you miss none.

First of all, here are some facts to know about tablet hunting :

• It is not necessary to find all tablets in a single playthrough to unlock the achievement: tablets you have found prior to reading that guide are considered found, no need to read them again.
  
• Tablets found in cooperative games count towards the achievement, no need to be solo: however, you need to read them in person to count. Tablets found by other players won't count for your achievement progress.
  
• Duplicate tablets only count once : These five tablets are found both in the chapter Unearthing The Sun and in The Power Of The Underground
  
• A tablet is considered found once the text has been fully translated: simply reading the Hieroglyph is not enough.
  
• Tablets found in the DLC Jewel Of The Nile do not count towards the archievement: however, that DLC is awesome. Buy it, play it, love it.
  
• Tags are not tablets: But read them however, some contain easter eggs or jokes.

Last note before beginning : that guide may be quite image-heavy. Apologies for the loading time, but you won't regret it.




Malgré les apparences, très peu de tablettes sont bien cachées dans des endroits à l'écart ou hors de notre vue. En fait, pour être tout à fait honnête, beaucoup sont presque inmanquables... Sauf que, quand on est assailli par des hordes de Kleers, de Kamikazes ou d'autres aliens sympathiques, il peut être facile d'en louper une. Ce guide vous aidera à ne manquer aucune tablette.

Avant toute chose, quelques petits trucs à savoir à propos des tablettes :

• Il n'est pas nécessaire de trouver toutes les tablettes en un seul parcours pour débloquer le succès : les tablettes trouvées avant de lire ce guide sont considérées comme acquises, pas besoin de les relire.
  
• Les tablettes trouvées en mode coopératif comptent pour le succès : cependant, il faut que ce soit vous qui les lisiez en personne. Les tablettes uniquement trouvées par les autres joueurs ne comptent pas.
  
• Les tablettes en double ne comptent qu'une fois : Elles sont au nombre de 5 et se trouvent dans les chapitres Découvrant Le Soleil et Le Pouvoir Des Enfers.
  
• Une tablette est considérée trouvée lorsque le texte s'est intégralement traduit : lire juste les hiéroglyphes ne suffit pas.
  
• Les tablettes trouvées dans le DLC Joyau Du Nil ne comptent pas pour le succès : Cependant ce DLC est génial. Achetez-le, faites-le, aimez-le.
  
• Les Tags ne sont pas des tablettes : mais lisez-les quand même, certains contiennent des références ou des blagues.

Dernier mot avant de commencer : ce guide contient de nombreux screenshots. Mes escuses pour le temps de chargement, mais vous ne le regretterez pas

Tablet 01 :

That tablet is almost un-missable and is located at the entrance of the museum, right after having foung the crashed helicopter and fought the various aliens on the plaza.

Cette tablette est quasiment immanquable et se situe à l'entrée du musée, juste après avoir découvert l'hélicoptère et combattu les divers aliens sur la place.

Tablet 02 :

Pretty unmissable too, that tablet is found in the first part of the level, right before the stairs leading to the museum's main hall.

Quasiment immaquable elle aussi, cette tablette se situe dans la première partie du niveau, juste avant les escaliers menant au hall principal du musée.

Once again almost unmissable, that tablet is located in the main hall, next to the exit on the left of the statue.

Tablet 04 :

That one can be easily missed. After finding the previous tablet, you'll enter a room and then a long corridor. Once in that corridor, on your left, you'll find a room whose door is half-open. Enter it, the tablet is located on the floor in front of a statue.




Tablette 04 :

Celle-ci peut être facilement ratée. Après avoir trouvé la tablette précédente, vous allez rentrer dans une pièce puis dans un couloir. Une fois dans ce couloir, à votre gauche, vous verrez une pièce dont la porte est à moitié ouverte. Entrez dans cette pièce, la tablette est située sur le sol en face de la statue.

That tablet is located on the left after the stairs when entering the second basement section (first one being the beginning of the level).

That tablet is found after the slums, at the ruins entrance, at the base of one of the arch's pillars on the right of the area.

Once inside the ruins, after passing the second metal door, the tablet is located on the floor, right in front of you.

Right before exiting the first underground section, the tablet is located at the end of the corridor, opposite to the stairway.

After fighting the first Witch-Bride of Achriman you'll come across a corridor that ends in a T intersection. Going right you'll arrive at the Minigun Corridor while gong left will lead you to a ruin with a tablet inside.

Right after unleashing the Holy Minigun Rage for the first time, you'll arrive in an courtyard surrounded by column and filled with Aurigan Cave Demons. In the center of that area is a sort of mausoleum. Right to its entrance is the 21st tablet.

Juste après avoir relaché la Rage du Saint Minigun pour la première fois, vous allez arriver à une grande cour entourée de colonnes et remplie de Démons des Cavernes Aurigan. Au centre de cette cour se trouve une sorte de mausolée. À droite de son entrée se trouve la 21e tablette.

That tablet is in the very first room where you spawn, next to the small set of stair, between column.

The following tablets in that chapter are all duplicates from tablets found during the chapter Unearthing The Sun. Re-reading them do not count towards the achievement. However, for the sake of serious science, here are the locations where you can find them.


Tablet 13 (Duplicate) :

First duplicate, that tablet is located at the entrance of the Sirian Zone, in the darkness.


Tablets 14, 15, 16, 17 (Duplicate):

As in Unearthing The Sun, these tablets are found next to the entrance of the temples where you'll find the four keys.

Do not try to google the text to find which egyptian text it is : if you look closely to what is said, you'll find out that the text looks like a sort of prophecy that tells the arrival of the Sirian on Earth, their departure to fight Mental in their homeworld, and then the war between Men and Mental and the arrival of Sam Stone to save us all !
