First things in order, you first need to have a hand, any type will do.

Secondly, you must have either a keyboard or a controller, instructions for each are included in this guide.

Third, make sure you have motor functions, once you have confirmed this, proceed to step one.

[STEP 1 (keyboard)]
Use your index or middle finger (either is usable, it's recommended to use your middle) finger's ability to extend and align it on either the "W" key on your keyboard, this may be troublesome, but your fingers also have the ability to flex, or retract, which allows you to move your finger back over the "W" key in case you missed it the first time.
[STEP 1 (controller)]
Use your left thumb's ability to extend and set it atop the Left Joycon of your controller, this may be difficult at first, no worries, because your finger comes with the ability to flex, or retract, giving you the chance to try again.

[STEP 2 (keyboard)]
once you have your finger over the "W" key, use your joint that is at the bottom of that finger to push downward, causing the key to be pressed. Once this has been achieved, if you are in game, you cans see your character start to walk.
[STEP 2 (controller)]
Once your left thumb is on the Joycon, make sure that you apply slight pressure to it, this will give you the ability to move it around without your finger falling off of the Joycon. Once you've done this, you can observe as your character starts to take steps.
