Omschrijving
This mod adds 9 new Worship beliefs / buildings with unique 3D art and overhauls the gameplay bonuses of existing Worship buildings. The new buildings are designed to provide options for religions and cults not yet represented by Worship buildings.

Each Worship building has a unique way to boost your Faith income, as well as a secondary bonus. Each secondary bonus appears on two buildings so you can get them more reliably even if some Worship buildings have already been picked. See images above for their bonuses.

For a rework of non-Worship buildings in the Holy Site, see District Expansion: Spirituality.

I highly recommend using the mod together with Religion Expanded for more religious diversity and to bring all the buildings into the game simultaneously with an increased religion count.

I would also like to express my gratitude to p0kiehl not only for making and maintaining Religion Expanded - which has provided lots of inspiration for this mod - but also for his support throughout all these years and for helping me learn modding and introducing me to the wider modding community in the first place!

Features
  • Reworked the 9 existing Worship buildings in the Holy Site.
  • 9 new Worship buildings and beliefs added: Candi (Hindu & Buddhism), Daoguan (Taoism), Jinja (Shintoism), Khalwat (Druze), Mandir (Hinduism), Mbari (Odinala), Peripteros (Hellenism), Sobor (Orthodox), Tzacualli (Quetzalcoatl).
  • All Worship buildings now have a Relic slot (see exceptions for Cathedral and Stupa).
  • Simultaneum no longer buffs building yields by +50%/+100%, but by +1/+2 Faith respectively. This change was necessary for mechanical reasons.

Credits
P0kiehl and all other contributors to Religion Expanded for inspiration and some small code fragments I took.
DB for the idea to extend the Cathedral's slot to include Relics and Music.

Compatibility and Recommendations
Requires Gathering Storm and Rise & Fall (Artwork only found in RF is used; the RF does not have to be active ingame for the mod to be used). Other DLC supported but not required.

If you do not have the Ethiopia DLC, the Sobor will get a flat +2 Faith instead of the bonus from Diplomatic Quarter buildings.

This mod is compatible with JFD's Rule with Faith, P0kiehl's Civilizations Expanded, and CIVITAS' City States Expanded (CSE), and Precinct of Amun-Ra. The new buildings will receive the respective bonuses.

This mod works well together with Religion Expanded or any other mod expanding the number of religions. If both mods are active, the Worship buildings from Religion Expanded will be deactivated.

I highly recommend using this mod together with the other mods from my Urban Complexity series, especially the District Expansions.

It is not, but I am guessing one could change some values in the Amun-Ra compatibility file to make it compatible with the Necropolis.

I know it is compatible with Precinct of Amun-Ra but is it compatible Necropolis, which is basically the same mod from the same author but updated and balanced?

Is this compatible with other religion mods on steam?

What's the intended functionality with the tzacualli? Is it faith for units killed near the worship building? Faith on kills for units trained in a city with the tzacualli? Stacking faith on kills per tzacualli empire wide?

Thanks JNR!

Just a typo in the description tag, functions fine, just the belief is missing its text. Uploading a fix right now.

It mentions Savannah, which is another of your mods I've recently subscribed to. Possibly incompatibility?

This is great, just ran it in my current game and went for Khalwat's. Lovely!
