Steam game stores your saves in steam cloud folder, first you need to find your existing saves.

inside you will see list of files with numerical value in the beginning. one save consists of 2 files: 0000XX.TwoWorldsIISave and 0000XX.TwoWorldsIISave_header

locate your recent save, copy it somewhere and start CoT game. start new game, save it couple of times so you will have saves folder created and dummy saves placed in. Exit game and open CoT cloud folder


inside you will see your dummy save files. copy your old saves into this folder. now you need to rename your 2 files into CoT save (save and header file).
for example I had 000053.TwoWorldsIISave and 000053.TwoWorldsIISave_header as my saves. CoT folder has 090001.TwoWorldsIISave and 090001.TwoWorldsIISave_header. I rename my saves to take that 090001 place.

Now when you run your game you should see your old saves ready to import.
You can do the same with saves from base game or from Pirates DLC. In my example I imported my character who beat main game and then Pirates DLC. He's 61 lvl Mage.
