Make sure to enable game instructor in options > multiplayer menu for important objective and key item text.

Claustrophobia (Once named "The Sewer") is a converted Half-Life 2 mod made by me.

This campaign features seven maps starting from a dank, dark sewer, leading all the way up to a Canyon, also features various puzzles and several optional paths to explore for supplies. Features a fairly difficult scavenge finale.

(Originally released in 2012 on GameMaps, and uploaded by a fan on Steam Workshop in 2019 in 3 seperate parts)

Special thanks to Bloue of GameMaps for helping me with NavMesh, some map edits, and other various things.

Chapter 1: Sewer (Mostly linear map)

Chapter 2: Wickland Mental Hospital (Various key item hunt)

Chapter 3: Reactor (Hunt 3 batteries to open the door that leads to the safe room)

Chapter 4: Subway (Traverse your way through a subway and it's lower maintenance tunnels)

Chapter 5: Subway Tunnels (Search for 3 gas tanks to power the generator to open the path forward)

Chapter 6: Canals (Mostly linear map, features a HL1-esque rideable tram)

Chapter 7: Canyon (Open a gate and disable a forcefield located down 2 different paths, then make your way to the finale)

trash map it wouldn't even let me pick up items because of some stupid rank mod thing which makes no sense and just ruins the fun of the game garbage map :steamthumbsdown:

Trash map 0/10. One of the bot teammates will be 100% stuck between the stairs and railings in the sewer outside the saferoom gate.

The idea and the aesthetics are great.
I like to explore and doing quests before proceeding further.
The gampeplay sucks. With bots it's torture, with players it's manageable, except the finale.
Infected spawns are bad, despite the big map it feels small since the hordes and specials spawn close, in rooms you have explored or behind corners you just passed.
The finale is worse: commons, specials and even tanks spawn IN DIRECT LINE OF SIGHT.
Spawns should be either further away making them believable, or in unaccessable points of the map, like in Dark Carnival Finale.
Some places should also be rebalanced.
There is nothing more frustrating than jumping in a room, surrounded with zombies in the water with tier 1 weapons.
Even worse when a tank spawns there.
Random tank spawns should be removed altogether since the fixed spawns during events are well executed.
I would not recommend this map, unless you play on easier difficulties.
