Presenting the thirtieth skin in my very first collection, the UMP-45 | Rising Tide!

This was a skin I was highly excited to work on, for no real reason other than that I just like how the UMP looks. Design process was standard with little to say about it, I avoided using the project through feature in 3dcoat because it creates an asymmetrical design but I have found ways to use it in a supplementary manner that helps fill in creases in the design vs. me having to draw all the connecting lines. Saves a lot of time and looks much cleaner in many instances.

It feels crazy finally hitting thirty guns, only four more left to go. In some ways it makes me feel a little uneasy as it has been rather comfortable to work on this collection, know exactly what the end result will look like of each gun, and having a clear routine to work on. On the other hand however it does feel liberating to know I will get to work on bigger and brighter ideas, and get to explore new creative avenues.

Looking back after all I have learned from this and how much I have been able to grow in my knowledge and skill I can say I am proud of what I have put out regardless of what comes of it, and I’m very thankful to those of you who have chosen to support my work :) If you like what you see and are interested in what’s to come, consider following my workshop.
