This mod once used a conversion of "Fair Skin Complexion" by HHaleyy as a base. Thank you for permitting conversion!

REMASTERED OCT 2024 and updated Jan 2025

This mod changes the appearance of the skin of fem characters. If you have passed over this mod before for being too "smooth" I encourage you to take a second look!

I have completely repainted my textures from scratch. The Remastered skins are highly detailed while still faithful to the aesthetic. Women now have pores and fine lines on their normal map. The makeup overlay is still blank, but I have the my old eyeliner shape preserved on the beauty complexion. The lip overlay should look natural from light to dark on lords and ladies. The lips *are* slightly fuller in shape than vanilla. I added many small details, including moles and veins, as well as fingernails and toenails. No one should look flat or airbrushed. Please see the new images for comparisons with vanilla.

For ease of comparison, the women in my sample images use the exact same genes as Fair Lords models. All of these npcs were randomly rolled.

Because the Fair Ladies Remastered skins are slightly more saturated than the vanilla skins, if you are using a mod that increases the portrait saturation, you may find them more vibrant than you expect. To take these screenshots, I used a portrait brightener, but I manually turned the mod's saturation setting back to the vanilla level.

UPDATE JAN 2025: Textures now match my new FLE versions. (The details are slightly lighter, but remain fundamentally the same.)

Why remaster?

Because my technology and abilities have improved in the past four years.

I liked the old textures better?

Okay! A lot of people incorporated my textures into their mods. You can find them.

Where should I place this in my load order?

It probably doesn't matter. If you have another mod that contains face textures, place this one below that one.

Should I use this with X mod?

If the mod in question uses extended textures, use the extended version of this mod. Otherwise, probably? This mod is compatible with off-site mods that alter the body mesh.

Why isn't this compatible with Ethnicities & Portraits Expanded (EPE)?

Nothing will break if you use them together. The game will run fine. You just won't get the intended effect of either mod.

Should I use this with Fair Lords?

I think so.

Should I use this with Fair Ladies/Lords Expanded?

No. That is not necessary and will only take up space on your system.

Can I install or uninstall this mid-playthrough?
