Welcome to yet another pack that I have been working on for a lot longer than I should have, and work on it is still far from done; I will continue to add in additional melee weapons whenever I feel like doing so, which is sporadic in nature. If you're wondering about the name, Pomp is a shortened version of my ponysona's name; Pompadour. Yes, I was that conniving to name it after my personal cartoon horse. Might I also say that I'm not a very good animator, so they may look a bit strange. Anyways, on with the description!

The pack itself includes weapons from all periods and locations, originally it was going to be a pack for just Napoleonic stuff, but over time I grew restless and wanted to make stuff from other periods, locations, &c. &c. Therefore it's grown to be a huge smorgasbord of stuff ranging from the mighty Aztecs & medieval times, to the splendors of Imperialist design. There are a couple different groups in the pack (namely two-handed, pikes, one-handed, and daggers); and within these there are further variations, each weapon has its own unique stats (not sure how long I can keep that up for, lol), though most vary by only minor degrees and will not be noticed. For instance, most weapons take two hits to kill, or one kick and one hit, plus the swing is timed, you cannot press M1 and instantly kill something unless you get lucky. I find this system fun, and if you find constantly getting knocked down is an issue, feel free to use No Knockdown Mutator by ooze1234, you boob.

  • Includes four different categories, all are found in the Equipment tab, others in the Napoleonic, Melee, and Assault tabs.


Pikes, Spontoons, and other Unwieldy Objects

Naval Boarding Pike
  • The pike is slow to use, but offers a very far reach and an instant kill if successful. The animation broke, and it is on a temporary one at the moment until the ordeal can be worked out. There is an equipment variant and a primary variant (found in the Assault tab), perfect for creating Pike & Shotte eras, such as the English Civil War.
Sergeant's Spontoon
  • Sergeants of European armies often carried a spontoon, such as during the American Revolution and Napoleonic Wars. The main purpose of the weapon was probably to keep the line fit and in an actual line, though also made use by guarding the colors. Such an example of the weapon seen done is by Charles Hamilton Smith.


Two-Handed Weaponry

Bruncvik's Sword
  • This sword is of legendary status in the Czech Republic due to its relation with a legendary Czech knight and dragon slayer, Bruncvik.
Japanese Naginata
  • A long instrument used by Japanese forces, is of decent attack speed.
European Arming Sword
  • Perfect for your Crusading needs, though historically one-handed
Chinese Chángdāo
  • A weapon similar in performance to the Naginata
Germanic Zweihander
  • A weapon that in the right hands will decimate an entire team and cut katanas clean in half, feel the power of the noodle sword. By far my favorite weapon to use of the pack, and perhaps yours too!
Hot Topic Katana
  • Disclaimer: I don't believe Hot Topic actually offers katanas. Anyhow, it's based on the cheap katanas you see in malls that neckbeards, mall ninjas, and antique dealers alike all fight to get their hands on. Complete with multiple dings on the blade to really emphasize its quality!
Princess Luna's Own Katana
  • Much like the above, but as a one-hit with some fun ragdoll-yeeting action. It's a pony sword, so have fun with that. I wanted to do a Celestia sword, but a katana don't fit that, chief.


One-Handed Weaponry

English 1796 Sergeant's Sword
  • There's not much to say about this one, it was the first weapon ever in this pack. The sergeant's model offers additional reach over the musician's.
English 1796 Musician's Sword
  • From what I have read, the sword was identical to the sergeant's variant, except the blade length was just a tad shorter.
English 1796 Heavy Cavalry Sabre
  • Used not just by the English, but the Prussians and other factions as well. The weapon is a one-hit kill to tie alongside my 1796 Light Cavalry Sabre .
Scottish Hilted Broadsword
1798 Highland Broadsword
English Baker Rifle Bayonet
  • Perfect for engagements when you have to reload your Baker Rifle, because it takes forever! I would not count on this doing anything against a guy with an actual sword, but by God can you try!

Aztec Maquahuitl
  • The Maquahuitl is a type of broadsword used by the Aztec civilization, looking similar to a cricket bat, but with razor-sharp obsidian pieces. Just think of all those diamond pickaxes wasted trying to craft this bad boy!

1933 SS Dagger
  • A not-very-practical dagger used by SS personnel early on, probably with no combat use.

1796 heavy cavalry sabre my beloved.

Pony weapons are also great. This whole pack is a force to be reckoned with when the Hit Stop mutator is enabled!.

Probably not, especially now that I have the melee blocking script and a desire to make a new pack that uses that system. I'll make sure to include secondaries on that, however
