Always wanted this
simply inceases the range at which you can use your matter tool to place blocks or mine them.

How many times have you been building and had to relocate your self to place some more blocks?
even with a fully upgraded matter tool its reach just never is enough. now it is.

inside the player.config file i found "initialBeamGunRadius"
by default its 10 blocks with the upgrades adding roughly 12 blocks extra.
yeah this mod makes it so you can reach 1000 blocks way. more than enough.
I would set it to 10,000 but really that might be unessarily heavy on the game engine

Combine it with my faster matter tool to reduce the grind of this game.

Also you can still buy those upgraded range upgrades IF you want but its not nessary

the only way this'll have a problem with any mod at all is if another mod exists that changes the initialBeamGunRadius value.
