Step 1 > Investigate everywhere, ignore the people around.
Step 2 > Return to the Dressing Room and question Ryan. Present him : Locket - Bow Tie - Torn-up Speech - Liquor Spill.
Step 3 > Return to the Backstage and question Ryan. Present him : Hip Flask - Celeblife - Wallet.
Step 4 > Return to the Main Hall and question Bobby. Present him : Torn-up Speech - Hand Prints - Liquor Spill - Hip Flask - Celeblife.
Step 5 > Question Kathleen. Present her : Flyer - Bow Tie - Hip Flask - Wallet - Celeblife (the conversation will be interrupted).
Step 6 > Question Kathleen.
Step 7 > Question Bobby. Present him : Hip Flask.
Step 8 > Return to backstage, Detective Cross will appear, if not, Launch the game once more ♥

Did you try to restart the chapter ? I think it's possible. You'll have to ask for the dev otherwise.

I didn't get stuck like this, but during case 2 the game crashed, now it just launches to a black screen (I've tried reinstalling and other things but still broken). It sucks cause I was kinda enjoying it

That's true, I wrote this guide as I got stuck myself almost a year ago so I don't think they will ever make any change. I just hope others won't stay stuck as much as I did myself as it really was annoying.

The problem is you have to use the Hip Flask on Bobby twice yet you have no reason to believe he will give a different answer he 2nd time. There really should have been a new question to ask him about the hip flask as this would prevent people getting confused.

Awesome thanks a lot! I got locked into the loop but I realised that the "drunk" question hadn't unlocked on Kathleen (probably something to do with the celeblife object interrupting her).
