Introduction
Hello viewer. My name is Forten2150 and I am an amateur guide maker. In this guide I will be listing all of the factions and their starting land and companions. If you have any suggestions please let me know in the comments section of this guide. I am simply doing this because I often find that steam guides can be very helpful and I want to help other people. Personally I enjoy this game very much so I would like to spread the word about it so it gains popularity. Without further a due, my guide...
Chernivkan Front
Starting Territory: Zinkov, Zalaniv, Aber
Companions: Olga
Brief Description: The Chernivkan Front is pretty much a starter faction. When you first spawn you will be in Chernivkan territory with a lot of looter camps around. Generally I would not worry about them as an enemy. I often find it quite easy to gather a few troops at the start of the game and easily take down and claim one of their city's as my own.
Summary: Not Very Strong and good for newer players

Valkyrie Female Fighters
Starting Territory: Mirne, Gorinka, Chernivka
Companions: Victoria, Oksana
Brief Description: The Valkyrie Female Fighters are a relatively ok faction. I would not classify them as being a powerhouse but they are for sure better than the Chernivkan Front. Overall I would not worry about them as an enemy however sometimes it can be beneficial to the player to ally with the faction.
Summary: Not very Strong but capable of doing damage

Uman Brotherhood
Starting Territory: Berezno, Babin, Drobin, Smolyanka
Companions: Finn, Haaken
Brief Description: The Uman Brotherhood is basically the enemy of everybody. When starting as a new character they are always hostile to you. I often find them being a pain in the a** sometimes because their troops are quite good in my opinion. I do enjoy taking over their city's because I do not feel bad about taking things from terrorists.
Summary: Moderately Strong and definitely has potential to ruin your day

Atov Federation
Starting Territory: Antopil, Lipno, Litvin, Lubni, Zhashkiv, Zorya
Companions: Dmitro, Kostyantin (<-- very good), Oleg, Vitaly
Brief Description: The Atov Federation is the faction that seems like the government to me. I often find that most of the time all the other factions do not like the Atov Federation very much. Also they can be a major nuisance if they have a lot of territory like they do at the start of the game. One thing worth noting is that Kostyantin has a 10 Tactics which makes him a very good commander (Leading his own army) in the long run.
Summary: Powerhouse and government of Cherniv and probably best if taken out

Pozna Battalion
Starting Territory: Dubno, Pliskiv, Odetsk, Beneva
Companions: Roman, Tatyana, Denis, Yuriy
Brief Description: If I am being fully honest with you, this faction is somewhat unknown to me. I dont feel that they play a major part in Cherniv aside from shi**ing on mountain bandits. I do think that an alliance with them could be good but there are better factions to side with in my opinion.
Summary: Although Powerful they are probably not your best choice to side or fight with

*Disclaimer*: I do not know much about this faction so if I am wrong or I discover something I will update this page immediately.
Free Cossacks Army
Starting Territory: Minov, Tumanivka, Brovari
Companions: Ostap, Stepan, Bohdan
Brief Description: The Free Cossacks Army starts as an enemy to the Atov Federation and usually stays that way. Personally I do find their troops effective but they are constantly getting attacked by Atov, Umans and Cossack Rebels. Although powerful, I feel that if left alone they will die out but that does not make them a bad ally.
Summary: Can be powerful with ally's but if left alone they will most likely die out.

Alpha Forces
Starting Territory: None
Companions: None
Brief Description: The Alpha Forces are a strong, late game enemy that will invade the land of Cherniv after you have gotten full control. They are quite strong because of their large numbers and are quite annoying late game.
Summary: Powerful endgame boss fight *Take Precaution*

Bandits/Looters
Starting Territory: None
Companions: None
Brief Description: The Looters are just an early game enemy. From then on they are nothing.
Summary: Weak and simply for early game

Rebels
Starting Territory: None
Companions: None
Brief Description: The rebels can be found all over the map and they are relatively strong. Although not a major force they get annoying over time
Summary: Pain in the a**

*Disclaimer*: The Wiki did have a flag but I cannot confirm that it is the actual flag for the rebels so I will be leaving it out
Terrorists
Starting Territory: None
Companions: None
Brief Description: Similar to the rebels, the terrorists can be found all over the map and are generally just a nuisance to the player
Summary: Not the strongest but can be a threat

Pirates
Starting Territory: None
Companions: None
Brief Description: The pirates can be found roaming in the Valkyrie Female Fighters area and are generally weak. Pirate leader squads can sometimes be pretty powerful early game.
Summary: Early game threat but after that they are easy

Mountain Bandits
Starting Territory: None
Companions: None
Brief Description: The mountain bandits are relatively weak and dwell by the Pozna Battalion. Generally not very powerful but can be annoying early game
Summary: Weak but annoying

Desert Marauders
Starting Territory: None
Companions: None
Brief Description: The Desert Marauders are a relatively strong group that lurks around... you guessed it, the desert. They can be a pain early game and even sometimes late game can be a problem but overall not too bad.
Summary: Relatively Strong and has potential to do some damage

Hi, here is some addition on Pozna battalion. They use A LOT of snipers and their commando troops are ok when they are not overrun by dozens of enemies.

Well that would take a very long time but I am sure I could do something like that. For now I will keep updating this guide and I will start on the weapons guide ASAP. If you enjoyed this guide make sure to rate it!
