I tried to make this a fun read but if your looking for efficency I just straight up bolded all the parts that straight up describe the mechanics. for you lame people who dont want to here ♥♥♥♥♥♥ jokes.

A few things that happen with the kidnapper. He breaks down your front door with a bottle of vodka in one hand and a bear in the other. the only way to stop him is to agressively squat till he leave
He kinda just vibes outside your house. And when the lights are off in a room he tries to unlock and enter the window.
So just every once and a while go around the house and turn on the lights and check the locks.

I'm about 90 percent sure on one more thing. if your windows are unlocked or a light in your house is off when you go to sleep you die. There is the audio cue of a fuse breaking if the lights go off but its highly suggested that you just search around every couple of minutes
I've found out you don't get a night game over if a window is open when you sleep idk what triggers that. Also he does have an audio cue which is a thud.

very simple really aight too hard

My main man tanner. this Fecker does what is called a pro gamer move and moves around inside of your house. From a game devolpement standard. here bad javascript adaptation of how he works

Long story short, He shows up on camer where you flash him away with the lights. if you don't and your still at your computer when he changes phases he kills you. if your away from your computer and he enters hell hide himself in one of the closet areas. if you check that area or use your computer he kills you, Make sure your in one of the other closets You can hear him enter a closet and/or Him leaving a closet. the way I found for dealing with him is open all the closets at the beginning of the night and if they close that means he is in one
He has an audio cue if the window is open of running

Memorize the shredded ones. I personally looked through the first guide on here and there is a list of shredded stuff. just read through that so you can maximize time efficiency.

Here is the order where I find stuff

• DMV: If a name is attached just put in eye and hair color and pick the person you're looking for
  
• Cell Phone stuff: This should always be second because Most of the case files have a lot of evidence in the text messages.
  
• Police reports
  
• Debit records
  
• social spy(Which I never see evidence on)

And remeber there are more pieces of evidence that the 2 that are required. just because someone else says its not evidence doesn't mean it isn't. I typically Prefer to solve each repeat case the same way for muscle memory but its up to you

This is just a theory on how it should work i'm not sure how it works on later nights.


Setup to each night.

At the beginning of each night make sure you go around and turn on each light in the house and lock all the windows(remember that, that small window in the kitchen is still a window that needs to be locked) . As well as open every closet door. This will help later.

Suggested upgrades:
If possible I suggest the first upgrade should be the Instant sim card research because thats where most info is from.

The form of it:

• Do the beginning of the research(If its short finish it if its long go up to the point where you've got one clue)
  
• at the same time listen for tanners audio cue for in a closet if you hear it check to see if the closet behind you is still open. if it is HIDE
  
• The above 2 should happen simultaneously
  
• after you finish the first half Check the security cameras frist(only a flash)
  
• Check all the lights and windows in dark room
  
• be sure too look at the closets as well when you look for a dark room, if one is closed hide in the other one
  
• Check the security cameras again
  
• Finish the report and then do the check again.

These should in theory barely give kidnapper a chance to spawn, and minimal tanner things.

So for those of you who don't know riskrim is this really cool dude who is a veteran welcome to the game player but recently he played scrutinized but his video is an hour long so I'm going to sum it up in five minutes on his strategy.


Lock all windows except for the one by the computer leave that open.
if you hear a heavy footstep thats tanner because hes more thicc than kidnapper
lighter footsteps is kidnapper
You have at most a split second to either flash tanner away or flash kidnapper away.

I haven't found a better way to do it other than this rn. so yeah
