Ragtag Resistance

Description
RAGTAG RESISTANCE

This mod uses existing game assets to make our ragtag XCOM band feel a bit more actually ragtag. Specifically, the following changes are made:
--Rookies now default to Resistance Warrior Kevlar Armor
--Non-hero Squaddies and above now default to their class's Tactical Legacy Pack armor
--The base game weapons and the Tactical Legacy Pack weapons have traded appearances (with the exception of the Tier 1 sword)
--Infinite quantities of the Tier 1 (and only the Tier 1) Tactical Legacy Pack pistol are available

REQUIRED DLC

In order for this mod to function, you MUST have the Resistance Warrior and Tactical Legacy Packs installed!

REQUIRED MODS

This mod depends on the Weapon Skin Exchanger mod and its Configuration extension. WSE itself depends on Highlander; hence, all three are required.

SPECIAL THANKS

My deepest gratitude to Iridar for the WSE mod, and for helping me realize that I was severely overcomplicating this. Iridar codes so I can config!

People may hate it for whatever reason, but for the best description and example what I envision XCOM 2 troopers to look like, watch Terminator Salvation and look at the soldiers. Thats what soldiers will look like after having everything taken from them for a decade or more. This is one reason I hate the XCOM2 plasma gun. It should look its made out of bailing wire, bubble gum, duct tape, and patched together firearms. I absolutely DESPISE the top tier gear and weapons. I wish we could put different camo pattern shirts and pants on our guys for an even better look.

Its Ragtag folks, not Saks Fifth Avenue.

I'm adding my voice on the "separate armor and weapons changes", because it's weirding the sh*t out with Cannon Animation Redux. Very nice idea in any case, congrats !

My apologies, @SolarNougat and @Stafford--it looks as though the mod description was reverted at some point. Things should be more clear now. :-)

I don't want no scuff in my game!
Stafford 22 Jul, 2020 @ 1:14pm
Scuff what??
SolarNougat 22 Jul, 2020 @ 9:58am
Scuff up? How does this work exactly?
