With this mod, you can remove your source collar anytime, you can also remove it when a new game starts.
Everyone will treat you as you are still wearing collars unless the quest related to this is completed.

Hi I am having a problem with my source collar as well. For some reason; the NPCs think I don't have a collar albeit, it is quite clear I still have the collar around my neck. My companions (AIs) got them removed after saving Gareth. I tried reloading and I still can't get the mod to work.

hey man, i dont know if you still reply here. But i am playing with a buddy of mine and we have reached act 2. His as well as our companions' source collars got broken but mine has turned into worn out necklace that is stilll unequippable and makes me unable to cast source. I tried your mod but i think it only works on source collar and not worn out necklace. could you help me out please?

Always thought it was rather stingy of the game mechanics to not allow to even wear a necklace for a meagre Combat or Civil point or two, or a few measly points of Magic Armour! Thanks for this, it's definitely a QOL that I'll be using for a while. :lunar2020gigglemonkey:

@Element120 I tried that. It could be a mod conflict but I am not sure what mod would conflict with the collar. Let me try messing with the load order.
