It depends on the situation of each mission. If an upcoming mission is a linear continuation to the previous one, you can’t add any reinforcement.
If a mission involves getting a backup from the unit, or another task in a separate location, the inventory will open for you with more men and weapons to add.

Hi, do you know if there is a way to change the weapons chosen at the beginning of the campaign, or does it remain standard? There is no way to change the inventory before starting the missions after mission 1

Yes the design was wonderful, and the graphics were ahead of its time.

This was my favorite map in game, i think in multiplayer it was labeled czech4? It also had a night version. Was my most played map in multi, come to think of it, I wish more games designed maps like that. It had some enterable buildings, some slopes even upward roads and such instead of being all "flat". Driving on it was fun too.

Sumava village.. Wonderful map and mission with close to medium range street combat.
I knew that the real photo from different village in France but even though, there is similarity.
