How to get this game to get past the title screen (W10)
By Fox the Dark Demon Cookie Wolf
Since GFWL will never get removed, this is the solution I used to get it done.

Introduction
Look, I get it, the game may not be "alive" anymore, but the ability to even play it in general or even get it running is enough for at least a little bit of fun. I'll be going over some of the tools I used to get this game past the title screen where you're forced to login to GFWL.
Tools/Programs Required
GFWL installer: http://download.gfwl.xboxlive.com/content/gfwl-public/redists/production/gfwlivesetup.exe
****WARNING: Clicking the link will open your web browser and instantly ask if you want to download the file. It's 100% safe since Win10 literally gave me that exact link.****

If that link ever fails, this is file but I'm rehosting it on my s-ul.eu account (since steam doesn't like mega.nz): https://foxo.s-ul.eu/luklDHjV
If we need more mirrors tell me and I'll add some other ones.

Any program that can block other program's connections to the internet
Personally, I used NetLimiter 4[www.netlimiter.com], but anything you have will work. I'll be going over the steps with Netlimiter 4, but your program should work in just about the same way

How to do it
Step 1: Download GFWL from the link above and run/install it.

As the warning said, the link will immediately ask you if you wish to download the file. If you don't trust it, run it through something like VirusTotal or you can scan it with your own anti-virus/anti-malware. It's 100% safe given how Win10 literally directed me to it as a "usable version"

Step 2: Install Netlimiter 4 / whatever traffic controller you wish or are most comfortable with

Netlimiter 4 is a pretty powerful tool. You can grab an evaluation version for free for 30 days, but you'll only be using it for less than 10 minutes so the full evaluation version doesn't matter.

Step 3: Open Netlimiter 4 and find GFWL

Now we get to the tricky part. You'll need to run Netlimiter 4 (or whatever traffic controller you're more comfortable with and find the entry for the Games for Windows Market Place (or whatever's closes to it) and block it's access to the internet. With Netlimiter 4 all you have to do is go to the "Rule Status" bar on the right side and click "In Blocker" then click "Deny", then do the same with "Out Blocker". This should prevent GFWL from making any connections to the internet which will benefit us greatly here.

Why are we doing this?

Great question person reading this! The reason we're doing this is so that way GFWL won't be able to contact windows servers to validate your information (which, if you're like me caused the game to never be able to log you in). Blocking the connection will get you to the next step for GFWL login which is entering your CD Key.

Step 4: Enter your CD Key

The reason that I put this as a step is because as you're entering your CD key you're going to want to allow GFWL to have internet access again. After you enter your key GFWL will attempt to "download your profile", but fail because there's an update/patch that you don't have that will basically fix any issues with the game not launching properly.

Step 5: Restart your game

After the GFWL yells at you for "not having an update" accept the update then restart your game, after the game closes you'll basically get 2 updates which will make the game actually function. Once the updates install, you're free to launch the game and login to your windows/GFWL account and the game will work without an issue
Conclusion
GFWL is a pain to deal with, but you can bypass certain things to force it to fix itself. Since GFWL will never be removed (unless you fancy yourself a black beard), this is probably the best any of us are going to get.

I won't ask for likes or whatever steam uses. I just want people to be able to play a game they paid for (even if the devs stopped caring about it). Anyway, I hope this at least helped at least one other person, if it did, then that's a success in my book.
