"Last night, after well upwards of 40 hours of survival time, I finally died with this character on DayZ. It was a relatively brief but epic fight, as a player started shooting at me; I took him out, but he had a friend with him which I did not realise at first. I fired at the other guy too, and there is a chance he died from bleeding or the zombies finished him off, but I can't know for sure. All I know is that it was the Infected that got me in the end - not the bandits. :D Since I had hundreds of rounds of various types of ammunition, fully modded M4A1 assault rifle, Saiga-12 shotgun with 8 round mags, and plenty of supplies to help me live through the apocalypse, I wanted to memorise this pretty decent run by taking screenshots at each new "stage" that I reached in my survival gear. It sucks that I lost it all, but that's how this game works. Looking forward to a fresh start.)))"
