First, I browsed the local files of Fugl. You can do that by right clicking the game, select properties, local files, then click browse local files. There should be something called Fugl.exe. You should double click it. If it says it's missing a file called vcruntime140_1.dll then you probably have the same problem I had.

I had first discovered the fact that this file existed because I had to download it so The Isle [evrima] would launch. I'm pretty sure that I had tried uninstalling and reinstalling Fugl in hope that it would launch before, but it didn't work. I haven't tried to find this file anywhere other than in The Isle discussions, but there are probably other ways to find this file.

So, if you still have the local files for Fugl open, and you have the vcruntime140_1.dll file, just drag it in there, simple as that. Finally, try to play the game. If it works, then there you go, that's all there is to it. One problem I have though, and I'm not sure if it's normal, but when I launch the game, two windows pop up, one is white and the other is the actual game. I'm not sure how to fix it, but the game works so I don't really care.

Edit: There is no longer a white window that pops up anymore, so that's cool.

I hope this worked for you. I honestly feel pretty lucky to have figured this out, and I'm just glad that I can play this game. I have a feeling it isn't the games or the devs fault that it was missing something. So yeah that's about it, this might not work for everyone but it worked for me so I felt like I needed to make a guide in case some people had the same problem as me.
