If you do this properly, your social link list should look similar to this screenshot, where outside of story-forced social links every other girl's meter is empty except for Chie's. This is an indication that you are not wasting your valuable in-game time dipping your fingers into any inferior tang.

When you only date Chie and none of the other, inferior ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the game, you will notice that you have far more time to complete the plethora of other social links and dungeon related challenges.

Any FOMO you feel from missing out on the rest of the game's smorgasbord of ♥♥♥♥♥ will be quelled on Christmas Eve, when you finally get to bury your face in Chie's greasy, pungent armpits and soak her meaty pheromones directly into your nostril hairs to have circulating through your body for the rest of your life
