This is a simple guide to find Aurelio, I'll update it if I find some other details about this secret character, don't hesitate to comment if you find him somewhere else or managed to find him again later on.

Where to find him

After the whole scene which begins with Vanille inviting Clover in her room, you have the possibility to return on the previous puzzle area. Aurelio is right there and you'll unlock the achievement right away.

It's possible to restart the game at this point, if you do so, you can do the puzzle once more (don't skip it), when you'll jump on Aurelio, a pop-up will appear to give you a weird message.

"What about some hide and seek?" is the message left. I didn't find him again after that.

@Ramen Bellic thanks for the tip! Close the pop up message by closing the window from the steam button menu

(use button X, on Steam Menu Button after selecting the popup window on Steam Deck).

On Steam Deck, you can progress past the pop up message by closing the window from the Steam button menu. It should be the top one of the two open windows in that sidebar.

i also didnt find him again afterwards, and wasn't quite sure how he fit into the story? was it andre in disguise or what?

Played this on steam deck and i was able to get the aurelio achievement.
when the message appears press the steam button and below the options for resume, controller options, etc there will be two options to switch windows, pressing x while hovering over the top one will close the message and trigger the achievement. I did this in gaming mode btw.

If you are playing this on the steam deck (which is where I played it) it kinda soft-locks when the pop-up appears, to mitigate this you can get the achievement on your computer or do it in desktop mod on the steam deck.

That's what I wrote, to speak to him, and thus get the achievement, you need to do the puzzle and the only way is to restart the game.

Funny thing, i stumbled on this guy by accident, but didn't get the achievement.

The other guide says you actually need to restart the game here to be able to do this puzzle again and "meet" him close-hand, and then you'll get it. That's some questionable game design imo.
