Hiya! Welcome to my trusty guide on "How To Deal With Bots"! If you frequent in pub matches, chances are you've come to meet the famous MYG)T bots as well as many others. Sadly, this isn't a rare thing to come across in casual, in fact it's very common. Either way, my job for this guide is to tell you all on how to deal with them!

Keep these set of icons in mind, they're your friends and will help you in this guide!

1. Open up the 'Options' tab.



2. Click on the 'Advanced' button.














3. Check the box next to the 'Enable developer console' text.








4. Press the top left button on your keyboard to open it up! (a.k.a: the tilde/backquote key: ` and ~)

1. Make a bind that will send a message in the chat, like so;

bind <key> "say Hey, your team has a bot/hacker, can you please call a vote and kick them? Thanks."

2. Press the bind whenever a bot or hacker joins the game!

1. Locate the username of the bot.
Chances are the bot will probably be a MYG)T bot or an endangered LMA0B)X bot.
(It'll be pretty easy to spot these kinds of bots.)

2. Call a vote.
- You can do this by either clicking the checkmark box, selecting the user, and votekick them.




- You can also type in the developer console:

callvote kick MYG)T

3. Wait for the vote to finish and kick the bot.

Please do not send death threats to ANY of the users or harass them. Instead, report the steam profiles of the BOTS, thank you.


These bots are speculated to "delete" the chat, instead, they use a symbol that appears invisible in the TF2 chat, making it look like they have pruned all chat messages.

1. Open the console and scroll up until you find a username, it'll usually look like this.

[ad] blah blah blah blah
Bot1 :




[ad] blah blah blah

2. Call a vote and kick the bot.


1. Make a bind that will send a message in the chat, like so;

bind <key> "say Hey, your team has a bot/hacker, can you please call a vote and kick them? Thanks."

2. SPAM THE HECK OUTTA THAT BIND!

1. Type in ‘status’ into the console.

2. Scan the player list until you find the usernames you’re looking for and look at when they connected.

3. If the connection time is in the seconds, copy the userid next to the user and type in ‘callvote kick ###’.













1. DO NOT PANIC!
- Don't panic when the bot steals your username, chances are people will think you're the bot and call the vote themselves.

2. Call the vote yourself!
- This'll usually make people know that you're the real deal and that the bot is the fake one! Please also notify others on why you're kicking them, example;

user: hey why are u kicking them
You: They're impersonating me, can you please vote yes so they can get banned before any chaos happens? Thanks.
