BIRD UP! Peregrine falcon

Mod Version: 0.1

Strong and fast, they hunt by flying high and then diving at their prey. These majestic creatures hunt alone for other smaller birds or mammals. Usually solitary, but can be found with their mate. Like most birds of prey, female peregrine falcons are slightly larger than males.

Spawns in most but extreme biomes. Can be trained to be released.

On top of that, their attacks are almost always lethal, in my experience at least.

holy mother of god. The concept of peregrine falcons is cool and all but theses are hands down the most annoying living things in the entirety of rimworld. They spawn in the actual dozens and will eat your starting food absolutely ravenously, consuming several orders of magnitude more food than an adult human would over the course of days in just a few seconds, and their main goal in life seems to be getting into your base by any means necessary.

@Syrup - They're territorial opportunistic eaters and yes, they can attack other birds, even the ones of the same species!

I don't know if it was due to my load order or something but I had falcons that would tear out the throat of another falcon if they were downed. Is cannibalism part of their code?

Do you think you can do pigeons/doves next?

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it tomorrow. They aren't supposed to attack people unless provoked

@RoosterDreams you might want to set the {maxPreyBodySize} a bit smaller so they don't attack people? I don't know much about mods myself, I just have the 'Foxes aren't suicidal' one, and it mentions doing this so they stopped attacking things bigger then them *coughcolonistscough* Otherwise, very cool, I love peregrines myself.
