So I was bored while doing a bit of Gilded Coast grinding with artifact of sacrifice and thought to myself "How far can you go up in the Gilded Coast and are there any secrets?" So, I did it. Here's the result.

So, TL;DR at the bottom for those who want to know about the climbing of the Gilded Coast but don't want to do it themselves. You will need to have either Milky Chrysalis or 3 Hopoo Feathers to climb the rings.

So, pretty expected, but there's nothing on the first 3 rings.


Next, near the height limit, about 10 rings up, there was also nothing. Pretty anti-climatic, right?


TL;DR There's nothing on the rings, I've wasted my time and hopefully yours as well.


EDIT: There is a logbook on the rings and the wording from @Ducktor_Shvat is "After the two broken black rings where the two full gold rings are, opposite side of the rocks between them, is where the logbook is" Thanks @Ducktor_Shvat for informing me of this! The Logbook itself is hidden by the Lensmakers Glasses in my inventory, but it's there.

I guess I wasn't looking carefully enough, I'll update the guide with the logbook location as soon as I can

Ditto what Sigmund said. The log book is up on one of the rings, it's kinda hidden between two of them and can only be seen from one side. I would recommend Merc or Loader to get up there easier.

the logbook for gilded coast is up there on the rings (dont remember which ring exactly)
