Proving Grounds (Alpha) 1.9.4

Descripción
Proving Grounds is a Team Death Match mod for NS2, currently in Alpha development. Featuring two teams, the aim of the game is to end the 10 minute round with more total kills than the other team.

New game modes and custom weapons etc will be added during the course of development.

Current Gameplay:

High-Speed Movement (Rocket Jump, Grenade Jump, Dodge, Double Jump & Jump Pads)
5 Weapons (Axe, Pistol, Rifle, SG/GL Combo, Rocket Launcher)
Health Drops on Death
Custom Map pg_dm6 (A Quake Map Remake)
10 Minute Round Timer - Team with most kills at end of timer wins.

Just open up NS2 and search you browser, look for game pg. Just click to join the server and play away :) Alternatively you could connect via the IP given out in my message below.

@Darkflame - This is Marine Vs Marine Combat, although while still using default NS2 marine models currently, movement is nothing like NS2. As this is early alpha, everything still has a very long way to go, but I hope you enjoy what is available so far. :gorge:

Funny enough, NS2 is the first FPS game i've fallen in love with since the good old days of Quake 3 (TDM being my favorite before Freeze Tag ruined the game).

I have on question about the mod, are the teams in this mod Alien vs Marine or Marine vs Marine?

I'm hoping the later :)

Just to let you know, our server should be online within the next 24hours or so. I have released an update to resolve damage number issues, further testing is required, but will be done in more detail once we have more features in the game.

There is currently 1 server in Australia that I know of. Our Official Mod server is currently offline as the person with access to the server has just moved countries and is currently awaiting his internet connection. We hope to be back online with our server based in Sweden within a week or so.
