Setting up for the first time
Please give this guide a THUMBS UP above if it helped you - thank you

Click on the screenshots to enlarge them if you need a clearer view

NOTE: I am not sure why or when you might need to set up the screenshot manager, I have had to do it twice on different games so felt it might be useful to include the required steps here.
There are also other ways to access your screenshots instead of using 'Manage my Screenshots', use whichever method you are familiar with.

SETTING UP FOR THE FIRST TIME

STEP 1)Press F12 in-game to take screenshot then tab out to the Steam Library page and scroll down to the SCREENSHOTS section on the right hand side and select MANAGE MY SCREENSHOTS

STEP 2) The SCREENSHOT MANAGER window will open showing small thumbnails of your screenshots, click on the one you want to share
The first time you do this for some games you will notice a black square in the top left corner of all your thumbnails and a couple of greyed out icons at the top of the page

STEP 3) Click on one of the black squares so it now shows a blue check mark
STEP 4) The greyed out icons are now active, click on the first one and select 'Share on Steam'

STEP 5) A new window will open,
(5A) Add a description to your screenshot if you want
(5B) Make sure VISIBILITY is set to PUBLIC or no-one else will be able to see your screenshot
(5C) Click on the UPLOAD button

Uploading and linking your screenshots
NOTES: For all future uses of the screenshot manager no further set up is required (unless you go to a different game I believe)

STEP 1 Scroll down to the SCREENSHOTS section on the right hand side and select MANAGE MY SCREENSHOTS
The SCREENSHOT MANAGER window will open showing small thumbnails of your screenshots but this time without the black squares in the corners, click on the one you want to share and it will open in a new window.
Go to step 2 for uploading a new screenshot
Go to step 3 for linking an uploaded screenshot

STEP 2 - UPLOADING A NEW SCREENSHOT
After selecting the screenshot you want to share from step 1 a much larger version will open
(2A) Click on 'SHARE' and you will get another small window pop up

(2B) Click on the option to 'Share on Steam'

(2C)
1 - Add a description to your screenshot if you want
2 - Make sure VISIBILITY is set to PUBLIC or no-one else will be able to see your screenshot
3 - Click on the UPLOAD button

STEP 3 - LINKING AN UPLOADED SCREENSHOT
STEP 3) After selecting the screenshot you want to share from step 1 a much larger version will open
(3A) Make sure visibility is set to PUBLIC
(3B) Click on 'View on my Profile'

STEP 4) A new window will open and at the top is the URL for that screenshot
(4A) Click on the URL to copy it
(4B) If done correctly you will briefly see a blue alert scroll up from the URL saying 'copied'

Finally paste that link into your post and it will become a small thumbnail within your post that people can click on to view

Remember to give this a THUMBS UP if you found it helpful - thank you

Try this - Go to Steam Settings (click VIEW at top of Steam page for drop down menu) once there go to 3rd option down IN-GAME and there is a box on the right side 'Screenshot shortcut keys' which should be set to F12 by default, if it isn't I suggest you either change it or use whatever key it is set to.
Hope this helps

So, my computer is weird. Pressing F12 on any game with take me to how I wish to format (though I have only one monitor). BTW this is on a Windows keyboard. Do you have a solution?
